I don't think it's any coincidence Fiji aimed for GB's Dan Norton with that kick. There's going to be a party in Fiji unless GB can get hold of the ball.

Fiji are wonderful runners but they're so physical.

It might be best not to watch this. It's horrible. GB can't even get hold of the kick-off. Dan Norton is built for speed, not claiming the high ball. It bounces off his hands and into Fijian hands. An uncontested run to the line.

GB were making a breakthrough but panicked. Once you turn it over to the Fijian fellas it's easy for them. GB will be upset at turning the ball over so easily. But what a team we're watching here.

This could be a rout. For a brief moment it looks like GB will get away, but Mark Bennett offloads to no one and, in the blink of an eye, Fiji are touching down in the corner.

Almost a third! If it wasn't for a tackle out of nowhere by Tom Mitchell, Fiji would be three scores up. Fijian fans in the crowd are dancing. GB look shellshocked.

A very ominous start. It all came down to a penalty. If you give Fiji the ball it'll be a long, long evening. Ben Ryan, the Fiji coach, has taken them to a new level.

Fiji are in again! GB under pressure from the restart, a penalty given away, Fiji score under the posts. This time the kick is made. GB can't get a tackle in. I don't think a man in white has hit the floor yet.

Fiji just do not want to go to ground, they'll d anything to keep the ball moving. The most important thing for GB is cool heads - it's one score. To beat Fiji you need to get hold of the ball.

Britain are behind! Fiji break, keep the ball alive and get it wide. Over in the corner. Huge roar in the stadium. Back In Black played. The favourites are ahead, but the conversion attempt is woeful.

Here we go. 10 minutes each way, full-sized pitch. This is a proper rugby, only with fewer men.

We gather for the anthems. The Fijian tune is jaunty. Uplifting. To a man, they are belting it out.

For the first time this week these are the signs that meet you at some entrances.

What a buzz at this stadium, a real energy and whatever happens there will be a slice of history on offer.

There are people here from across the globe but those of a British and Fijian persuasion look most edgy.

One Fijian told me there'd be a public holiday back home if they win this. A lot on the line then.

Yes, it's historic for being the first men's Olympic sevens final. However, Fiji are winning their first Olympic medal in any sport. Ever. They are the favourites to take gold here...

These guys have to make sure they the aerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity and then the skills. They have the backing of the nation and bat means a lot wen you're hitting the dark days. What an amazing thing to hear that GB will be competing for a gold medal.

This GB team has been put together in three weeks and it's the first time they have played together. It's quite an emotional story. Add to that, the Fiji coach Ben Ryan signed up at least six of this team.
