    Men's team pursuit

If you're tuning in for the men's sprint final between Great Britain and New Zealand - it's running late. Should be within 20 or 30 minutes.

In the men's team pursuit, New Zealand have just clocked a time of 3:55.977, second best so far behind Denmark.

Germany are next, and then it's Sir Bradley Wiggins, Ed Clancy, Steven Burke and Owain Doull.

    'Never-say-die gold attitude'

Great Britain's James Davies is in confident mood ahead of tonight's rugby sevens final against Fiji (23:00 BST).

He said: "We got to that final. It is the most special feeling I have ever had in a rugby game. We showed a never-say-die gold medal attitude. We have shown it in so many games.

"We have put the best teams away: New Zealand, Argentina and South Africa. We are going there full of confidence. We are going to concentrate on our own game because it is working for us."

Are we set for another Team GB world record tonight?

Matt thinks so. And he knows more about cycling than I do about drinking tea and eating biscuits.

I must be on a long run of late shifts, I've just let a tweet with the words 'totes emosh' through the net.

    Straight red card.

She is amazing though isn't she? Simone Biles, undoubtedly one of the stars of the Games.

    Nothing tape can't fix

After a Dutch rider crashed earlier, there's some gaffer tape going down to repair the damage caused. Fill it with some newspaper and tape over the top.

    Job done.

So just to recap, Sir Bradley Wiggins and co are in action in the men's team pursuit qualifying, before Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner go for gold in the men's team sprint at circa 22:25 BST.

That could be running a touch late after that big crash for the Dutch rider.

    Women's all-around

That's that from Great Britain's Ellie Downie as she finishes on her beam. There's a little fall at the end though and she's marked 13.700 by the judges. There's a superb performance from Untied States' Simone Biles on the floor though - plenty of kicks, splits and twists to entertain the crowd.
