It's still supposed to be winter here, but it's close to 30 degrees again with very little wind, which is fine for the beach but not so good for sailing.
As a result, the medal races for the men's Laser and the women's Laser Radial have been delayed. There are seven courses here in Guanabara Bay, but the medal races take place on the Pau de Acucar (Sugar Loaf mountain) course in front of Flamengo beach.
That means fans get a decent view but it's in a sheltered part of the bay, hence the light winds.
GB's Laser world champion Nick Thompson has an outside chance of a medal as he stands sixth overall, whereas Alison Young in the Laser Radial is eighth.

The real winner today is dressage - we are seeing something very special.
Equestrian
Charlotte Dujardin has spoken to the BBC after her dressage performance. She's currently in first place with 93.857%
"I have just had the best ride. I’ve gone out there and Valegro has given me everything," she said.
"I felt so emotional doing the last bit. We’ve all had a cry. It’s the most amazing feeling when you go in there and they’ve tried their heart out.
"No matter what the outcome I know I have done my best, so has Valegro and I’m so proud of him.
"I’m happy to go give Valegro some more sugar, some treats and apples. I’m so happy. I feel a little bit overwhelmed with what’s happened. I feel really emotional."

As Spain's Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez goes at it out in the middle, the Bon Jovi hit 'It's my life' to conclude is a master stroke as the crowd love it.
A whopping round of applause but the consensus in the media galleries is that Charlotte Dujardin will not be knocked off top spot.
Isabell Werth of Germany is last up - one to go before her. Werth is seen as the remaining danger but beating the mark of 93.8% is highly unlikely.
Laura Graves - a beauty technician from the US - goes now.
Dressage
Spain's Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez gets a huge round of applause as he finishes his routine. They seemed to like the Bon Jovi conclusion.
But is it enough with the judges...?
Well it's enough for third, with 83.553%. ANGRY SCENES AT THE DRESSAGE. The crowd are whistling, they expected a higher score.
But what that means is Charlotte Dujardin still leads with two riders left.

Starting them early - an excellent move!

Women's boxing - lightweight second round
Ireland's Katie Taylor will not retain her Olympic lightweight title after a surprise 2-1 defeat to Finland's Mira Potkonen.
"It was a very close fight," said Taylor. "It's very hard to talk about.
"When you are in the middle of the fight it probably looks very different from the outside. It was a close fight and congratulations to her. But I should really be beating those girls."

Charlotte Dujardin's expression at the end told us she thought it was a brilliant test. Surely no-one can take that away from her?
That was incredible. We can just abandon the rest of the day - I'm happy now!

Richard: GET WRECKED, GERMANY. British dancing horses are the best dancing horses!!!
Jo Frazer-Wise: The Olympics brings out the strangest behaviour - never thought I'd be listening to dressage on bbc 5 live
Neil Merriman: The awkward moment you realise that a horse can dance better than you
Dressage
Here comes Dorothee Schneider, the fourth from last rider. She won team dressage gold with Germany, above Britain and Charlotte Dujardin.

Get the big flag out and get it up that middle flag pole. This is special. If anyone beats that, good luck to them.

I get much more emotional watching this than I do cricket, because I know cricket. The relationship between human and animal is fascinating.
Dressage
WOW. A huge score here for Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro. They have got 93.928% and the British rider storms into a lead, with four yet to go.
Tina Cook on BBC Radio 5 live: "Charlotte is quite emotional there. She felt the pressure. There's relief that there was no obvious mistake. Now it's down to the judges."
Dressage
A HUGE round of applause for Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro as another fine routine comes to an end. Now we wait for the scores.

Chris Williams: Riders too good for walking around. Make more interesting by making them dress as a clown or a witch and you get Fancy Dressage.
Ros Clarke: Looks pretty much perfect to me. But what do I know?
Who's asking: Cheering on a dancing horse .........
Sam Holloway: I know absolutely nothing about dressage, except that when a gold medal is on the line, it's absolutely compelling
Jill ThomasonStewart: Listening to horsey commentary on @5liveSport, external. Dressage... Maybe... Sounds fancy. Haven't a clue what's going on.
