Mills and Clark have not really been celebrating. I think when they finally cross that line and it sinks in there will be a massive celebration.

They have sailed their socks off this week. There have been no errors and even the favourites New Zealand have made daft decisions.

They have been so mature. They're the perfect couple, one from Essex, one from Wales, the genuine Gavin and Stacey.

I've just seen a replay of that Neymar goal. I think it went in after only 15 seconds. He completely mugged Johnny Palacios, who was having a little nap. The Maracana is absolutely banging. There might be more spectators there than the rest of the Games put together.

We have just arrived at the BMX course ahead of the 18:24 BST start. No British interest in the women's competition but plenty in men's, more on that shortly.

For now though, take a look around the BMX course in 360 degrees. Just click here to open the image, external and then move your phone around to take a look at the surroundings.

All of Brazil and a reasonable portion of Barcelona is holding its breath here.

Neymar needed treatment after the goal, got up, then collapsed again. Now he's been loaded on to a stretcher...

    Incredible.

Brazil are ahead inside 20 seconds and the Maracana is going stark raving bonkers. Neymar nips in to nick the ball off a Honduras defender, chases and somehow gets the ball over the keeper.

    He's hurt himself, though...

Rats, that's something of a blow. Sailing postponed for the time being, so Mills and Clark must wait a little longer before getting their hands on that gold medal.

The sailing has been blighted by wind issues during these Games. Not enough wind, too much wind, wrong kind of wind.

Out on the boat with double Olympic champion Shirley Robertson, cameraman Tim Butt and Sergio, "the best boat driver in Brazil" to follow the 470 women's medal race where Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark can earn a second gold medal for Great Britain.

Unfortunately, as Sergio says the weather is "better for water-skiing that it is for sailing" with very light winds, so racing has been postponed for now.

Great Britain’s Savannah Marshall fights against nemesis Nouchka Fontijn of the Netherlands at 19:15 BST.

A win would guarantee the Hartlepool boxer at least a bronze but she has not been able to find a way of beating Fontijn in their last four fights.

But whatever happens she's already planned a trip to fast-food restaurant McDonalds.

"I'm going to get four cheeseburgers, take the buns away and have four meat buns. I've planned it all," she said.

With just four teams left in the men's football tournament, players and managers are agonisingly close to winning that desired gold medal.

Brazil take on tournament giant-killers Honduras at 17:00 BST in the Maracana in their third consecutive Olympic semi final - they have never won Olympic gold, though.

Germany take on Nigeria in the other semi-final at 20:00 BST, two years after their 7-1 hammering of Brazil in the 2014 World Cup.

The Germans, like Brazil, have never won the Olympic title as a unified nation - the question is whether the two heavyweights will meet at the Maracana on Saturday.

Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark are well on their way to winning Britain's second sailing gold, having built up a 20-point cushion before Wednesday's 470 medal race.

Mills, 28, and Clark, 36, finished second and third in Tuesday's races and look set to better the silver they won in London four years ago.

They get going at 17:05 BST.
