It was an exciting semi-final wasn't it? That is what we like to see. A race with big names, competitive and someone you might not expect just sneaks through.

Justin Gatlin was working hard and tried to stick with him. Yohan Blake also struggling. Wow. 

Adam Gemili is through! He's in the final, and Yohan Blake and Justin Gatlin are both not.

Wow! A very close race and a shock result as Justin Gatlin is run out of it. Alonso Edward wins it in 20.07, Churanda Martina of the Netherlands is second.

Justin Gatlin is only third, Yohan Blake SIXTH. 

Tianna Bartoletta has just gone 7.17m to lead! One jump left.

"I was watching the 100m and when I crossed the line Steve Cram said I am immortal now. I love that."

Adam Gemili got really tight at the end, the shoulders up high and that makes it really tough. 

An interesting run by Usain Bolt, he got out fast and quick and let off a bit. De Grasse decided he was going to have a bit of fun and go and get him.

That time means that Danny Talbot is now definitely out. 

Under pressure, out of sorts - but class is permanent. Brittney Reese pulls a rabbit out of the hat to jump 7.09m and move into the lead with one jump left...

Adam Gemili shaking his head after that, but with 20.08 secs behind the blistering Bolt he may still make it through. Fighting it hard through the last 30m as the pressure came on, perversely making running fast that much harder.

So close to that magical 20 second mark so Adam Gemili has an excellent chance of holding on. 

Usain Bolt may be the first man to moonwalk a 200m race in 19.78 seconds. He and Andre de Grasse could have had a chat down the last 60m. 

Usain Bolt makes it look as easy as ever, already looking around at 120m, this is fast, this is slick - 19.78secs!

I tell you what, that's quick. His fastest of the year.

Andre de Grasse was right with him too, second in 19.80.

And Adam Gemili is third, great time of 20.08. Could be enough...
