Men's quarter-finals
During his three previous games, Kei Nishikori must have been saddened by the absence of his compatriots in the crowd at these Tokyo games.
Today, he'll be happy they are not there to see this.
He's being pulled all over the court like a puppet with Novak Djokovic controlling the strings. The world number one is a set and a break up at 6-2 3-0 - and surely cruising into the semi-finals.
Great Britain 0-0 Netherlands
SAVED AGAIN.
Excellent efforts from GB here.
Maddie Hinch kicks the shot away with her left foot and the second shot sails right of the goal.
Great Britain are holding on with everything here, but we're only in the first quarter.
Great Britain 0-0 Netherlands
Giselle Ansley flicks the ball too high while defending and the Dutch will have another penalty corner.
Maddie Hinch saves one, but the corner is reawarded.
Men's 100m butterfly heats
Gold medallist James Guy, who was part of the British quartet that triumphed in the 4x200m freestyle relay on Wednesday, is in action in the 100m butterfly heats in the next hour.
Guy is joined in heat eight by fellow Briton Jacob Peters, while they will both be racing against American world record holder Caeleb Dressel, who has already picked up two golds in Tokyo.

Uh oh, finally the Netherlands get their penalty corner...
Great Britain 0-0 Netherlands
The Dutch have sprinted dangerously into Great Britain's D a worrying number of times in this first quarter, but nothing has come of it so far.
An appeal for a penalty corner is turned down and later Rio hero Maddie Hinch is slightly tested, but coolly bats the ball away with her left hand.
Silver for GB's Mallory Franklin as Australia's Jessica Fox wins gold
Simon Gleave
Head of sports analysis, Gracenote
Jessica Fox is the first paddler (male or female) to win an Olympic medal in canoe AND kayak events in canoe slalom.
Fox claimed three medals in the women's kayak event (silver in 2012 and bronze in 2016 and 2021). Fox also became the first woman to claim at least four Olympic medals in canoe slalom.
Great Britain 0-0 Netherlands
Five years ago, Great Britain pulled off a final heist, overturning favourites Netherlands.
World and European champions Netherlands are even more fancied this time, with Britain having a young, inexperienced side in the wake of a raft of post-Rio retirements.
Turns out Roma boss Jose Mourinho is a huge judo fan.
He's just watched fellow Portuguese Jorge Fonseca win bronze in the men's -100kg.

Men's quarter-finals
Novak Djokovic is chasing a 'Golden Slam' in 2021 - all four Majors and Olympic gold.
It's never been achieved in the men's game - Steffi Graf managed it in 1988 in the women's game - but the Serb has already won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon this year.
And he's a set away from reaching the Olympic semi-finals after winning the first set 6-2 against Kei Nishikori who is carrying the hopes of the host nation, of course.

What an exciting match!
That was worthy of a final wasn't it?
Team GB had that really strong opening, the way they went straight at New Zealand and New Zealand looked a little bit nervy, ragged in place and making mistakes.
But we knew they would come back stronger second half.
They're a professional outfit - they wouldn't be panicking.
A really thrilling match and a great day to bring down the curtain on a day of sevens here.
Great Britain 21-26 New Zealand
Great Britain can't snatch back the lead. It goes down as a heroic defeat rather than a sensational victory...
A victory against Kenya in their final match should, should, be enough to carry them through to the last eight.

Well Great Britain are giving chase.

And here's the response.
New Zealand have found their gear and they've scored three quick tries.
This is why you've seen this team be so successful, they're composure when they're down.
Great Britain 21-19 New Zealand
Tyla Nathan-Wong with a little show and go, hinting at a scissors with Ruby Tui before hitting the acclerator and nipping through a hole to saunter in under the sticks.
Great Britains' lead is down to two with two minutes to go...
Men's singles
It's all over for Toby Penty.
Denmark's Anders Antonsen, a world silver medallist, wins 21-10 21-15 and GB's Penty exits at the last 16 stage.
With that, Team GB's badminton campaign draws to a close.
