    After her fall and amazing recovery in the heats of the 1500m earlier, Sifan Hassan is about to go in the final of the 5,000m hoping to complete the first part of a Tokyo treble.

    The Dutchwoman's biggest challenge in this one could come from Kenya's Hellen Obiri.

  3. Campbell guaranteed a medal

    Emily Campbell has just guaranteed herself a medal in the +87kg weightlifting.

    That means she will become the first British female to win an Olympic weightlifting medal.

    Tom McEwen did a brilliant job, kept his cool, rode a magnificent run, and Toledo De Kerser just proved he is worth his weight in gold.

    It's exhausting out there. The heat and humidity is really taking it out of these players especially with the intensity they are playing at.

    Hannah Martin scored a superb goal, but Spain equalised soon after so we've got a big second half coming up.

  7. Morocco's first gold medal since 2004

    Men's 3,000m steeplechase

    It is a great result for Soufiane El Bakkali, who was fourth in Rio in 2016 and has won Morocco's first gold medal since the great Hicham El Guerrouj's double in Athens in 2004.

    It also ends Kenya's dominance of the race - they had won every gold medal since 1968 apart from the two Games they boycotted.

  10. Gold Medal - Soufiane El Bakkali (Morocco)

    The steeplechase has been dominated by Kenya in recent times.

    But it's gold for Morocco's Soufiane El Bakkali, who finally gets his hands on Olympic gold.

    He gets past Ethiopia's world leader Lamecha Girma on the final lap and powers away to win.

    Can she seal a remarkable comback? Remember, eight years ago she was in a coma after a heavy fall.

    It was going so well, but mistakes at the final two fences put pay to her medal chances.

    She will attempt 156kg next.

    It was late movement and a high deflection which led to that Spain goal and that is hard to defend against.

    We're about halfway through and Japan's Ryuji Miura is setting the pace but it is a slow pace and we could have a fast last couple of laps.

    It can be done, it is good for the rest of the riders to know you don't have to gallop like mad. You can cut the corners, keep the rhythm and you can jump clear inside that precious time.

    How did Hannah Martin even make it into the circle there?

    She barges through two defenders and slaps the ball in between the goalkeeper's legs. Incredible.

    That is Martin's fourth goal of these Games.

    Both Great Britain and Spain remain goalless after the first 15 minutes.

    The Spaniards look a bit more threatening towards the end of the quarter but neither goalkeeper has been too troubled yet.

    Laurel Hubbard did not take questions from reporters after her early exit from the competition but said: "I'm not entirely unaware of the controversy which surrounds my participation at these Games, and as such, I would particularly like to thank the IOC, for I think really affirming its commitment to the principles of Olympism and establishing that sport is something for all people, that it is inclusive and is accessible."
