    Fridolina Rolfo

She hit the crossbar in the first half, but there's no denying that one!

There's a bit of a scramble in the box and the ball falls to Fridolina Rolfo, who fires past Teagan Micah from a tight angle.

As it stands, Sweden will play Canada in the women's football gold medal match, but there's plenty of time for Australia to get back in this.

I have no doubt about Femke Bol's hurdling skill because she hurdles the way she runs. She manages them so well. For someone who has come to the event not that long ago at a world-class level, I am really impressed with the way she has progressed.

Femke Bol is so young but so confident. She wasn't perturbed by the rain and made that look effortless, but I can assure you it's not! There's a lot of work in training, but because they are so good at their skill it looks easy sometimes.

Ouch! Petersen falls as Bol eases homepublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 2 August 2021

    Women's 400m hurdles semi-finals

Oooh... running in lane nine, Denmark's Sara Slott Petersen clatters the hurdle turning into the home straight and the 2016 silver medallist hits the deck.

But Femke Bol is well clear and the Dutch 21-year-old eases right up before crossing the line in 53.91, with the USA's Anna Cockrell coming second in 54.17.

Ukraine's Viktoriya Tkachuk is looking up at the video screen, with her hands presed together, praying she's done enough to qualify as a fastest loser.

Sydney McLaughlin has the maturity of someone five years older. She is so young but so strong at holding her pace. For her to be able to manipulate her strides in that way takes a long time to learn how do that normally. It's remarkable what she can do. Both her and Dalilah are so pristine on the track. We are going to be spoilt in the final.

It was quite an impressive performance by Dalilah Muhammad. I think it was significant she was able to perform so well despite the conditions. She attacked it really aggressively and did the damage over the first 200m. Maybe she wanted to show that despite the conditions she could still perform.

Women's football semi goalless at the breakpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time 2 August 2021

    Australia 0-0 Sweden - women's football semi-final

It's goalless at half-time in Yokohama and that's probably a fair result. Both sides have had their chances but are still looking for the breakthrough.

Sam Kerr had the ball in the back of the net with a sweet volley from a free-kick, but the whistle blew for a foul by the Matildas captain before she made contact with the ball and it won't count.

Fridolina Rolfo came closest for Sweden when her strike hit the crossbar, but it looks like another nervy 45 minutes ahead.
