Yes Jack! Very nice indeed. Magnificent second round dive. Staying cool, calm and collected. He's letting his dives do the talking and they're talking very loudly and confidently indeed.

James Heatly not looking quite as sharp as he was in the semi-finals. Throwing up a little too much splash. He has got some serious work to do if he wants to be anywhere near contention for a medal.

85 is solid for Jack's first dive. That's cheeky! 85 for 3.4 degree difficulty - that's really high. He'd be happy with 80... well it's Jack actually so he's a perfectionist, but he'll probably be happy with 85.
That was a really good opening dive and hopefully he continues this consistency.
Men’s 3m springboard final
GB's James Heatly gets 71.40 after his second round dive. He's got some work to do.
Medal hopeful Jack Laugher is doing well. He's in first place after his two dives. 85.75 in round two.
Wang Zongyuan from China goes next and there's a slight error. He's up there with Laugher still but slips to second.

Simon: Was anyone else literally blowing the TV trying to will him on?
Robert: I don't even watch sailing. Giles Scott. Where've you been? Jumping around like a crazy bloke in front of the telly.
Martini: Men’s Finn Class! Another tense and absolutely gripping race!

That is a really solid first dive there from Jack Laugher and it must be serious because Tom Daley has put down his knitting and is clapping away.

I had full faith that Jack Laugher and James Heatly would both be making the final. Third and fourth with huge scores so I am really excited for this final.
I have competed at these long prelims, they can be three or four hour long. When you are diving for three seconds every 40 minutes, you have really got to turn it on and switch it on and save your energy between these rounds.
That is something you can't really teach, it just has to be learned, for James Heatly to come out here at his first Olympic games and show that level of mental strength is amazing.
Men’s 3m springboard final
Britons James Heatly and Jack Laugher are currently in action at the Aquatics Centre for the men’s 3m springboard final.
Heatly gave a nervous thumbs up as he was introduced while Laugher looked relaxed as he waved to the fellow British divers, including Tom Daley, watching from the stands.
Laugher won silver at Rio 2016 and is bidding to go one better this time, although China's Wang Zongyuan and Xie Siyi are the hot favourites for the medals.

Amazing scenes out on the water - they were fighting each other so hard all the way, right to the end of the race, but in the end all that remains is the respect for the performance that they have pushed each other to deliver.
Shirley Robertson
Two-time Olympic gold medallist on BBC TV
The most stressful race of his life. What a win for Giles Scott. This week, he has done it the hard way.
He has fought for every place throughout the event. It shows on his face - he cannot believe it.

Giles Scott right at the last moment crosses the line! The points are on his side! At the line, he holds on to the gold medal in the dying moments of that race.
A superb performance. Double gold medal for the British sailor.
Gold for Great Britain.
Silver for Hungary.
Bronze for Spain.
That was so close!
He's done it! Britain's Giles Scott comes through in fourth place which is enough to grab another gold medal!
He's defended his title in the Finn class.
