Two-time Olympic gold medallist on BBC TV
I've spoken to Giles every day and he says he's never, ever been pushed as hard as he has this week. It's been right up there in terms of stress levels.
Partly because they've not been training in the venue, partly because he spent all winter with the America's Cup, so he might be little rusty.
Hungary drop to second which means Giles Scott, in fifth, will win gold.
He's right in the thick of it but it's not going to be easy.
At the third mark now.
GB's Giles Scott comes through in seventh. Hungary are still flying.
That will be a silver medal overall as it stands.

Light breeze at the moment, but thankfully a calm sea for this race track.
Just one place gained will mean that Giles Scott will hold onto the gold medal. He needs to be fifth or better, at the moment he's sixth.

Sarah: Watching BBC Olympics shows what it truly means to the athletes. Emotions from both ends of the scale such sadness for Adam Gemili, smiles and dreams for Gadirova twins.
Paul: Can we have a joint “Young Sports personality of the year award” this year with the Gadirova twins?

If you want to follow the sailing Finn class, we're live on BBC One now.
Giles Scott will almost certainly get a medal but he's after gold. Can he do it? We're over halfway.
We've reached the second mark. Australia lead the course, with Hungary in second.
Britain's Giles Scott isn't comfortable. He's having to fight hard to get into that top five. He's down in seventh now.
Brilliant recovery from Giles Scott and he is now in gold medal position. He's in fourth in this race but remember, he only has to finish in the top five to win gold overall.
We're coming down the course on the first lap now.
Women's featherweight (54-57kg) final
Sena Irie has secured Japan's first-ever Olympic women's boxing gold, narrowly beating Nesthy Petecio of the Philippines on a unanimous points decision in their featherweight final.
Irie beat Britain’s Karriss Artingstall on points in her semi-final, while Petecio was aiming to become only the Philippines’ second-ever Olympic gold medallist, eight days after Hidilyn Diaz became the first in the women’s 53kg weightlifting final.
Giles Scott's halfway up the course now towards the first turn. He's got two laps to do but he is a little behind at the moment, down in eighth.
The points tally Scott has accumulated so far means if he finishes in the top five sailors, he is expected to pick up gold.
He is pretty much assured a medal.
A little bit more on that Ed Clancy announcement here.
Team GB said in a statement: "Ed Clancy has withdrawn from the remainder of the Tokyo 2020 team pursuit competition as a result of an on-going back and sciatica issue, marking the end of a fantastic career spanning 20 years which has seen him become the most successful team pursuit rider in history.
"Charlie Tanfield will join Ethan Hayter, Ethan Vernon and Ollie Wood in the team pursuit quartet for the remainder of the Games."
On his withdrawal, Clancy said: “I’m absolutely gutted that my Olympic career has ended this way, but it would be unfair of me to try to carry on now I have aggravated my back injury.
"Ultimately, I want the rest of the lads to build on the hard work we have done over the past year and a half and give them the best possible chance of making it on to the podium. I will be supporting them all the way.”
We've got more sailing for you - can GB get another medal?
Giles Scott has just set off in defence his title in the Finn class medal race.
Some big news to bring you from the Team GB camp.
Three-time Olympic team pursuit champion Ed Clancy has pulled out of today's men's team pursuit with a back injury and announced his retirement.
Men's 400m hurdles final
How about this for a stat to put Karsten Warholm's ridiculous 400m hurdles world record into context.
His blistering 45.94 second lap, which I must reiterate was achieved despite hurdles, would have seen him win the 2021 British Championships over the regular, flat 400m.
Madness.

Chloe: You know what I really hope Adam Gemili recovers from this. Physically and mentally. That’s devastating

Men's 200m heats
Top level sport can be such a lonely place.
All that effort, hard work and years of preparation gone to waste in the blink of an eye, or in Adam Gemili's case, the tear of a hamstring.

Men's 200m heats
British sprinter Adam Gemili saw his hopes of a medal in the men's 200m dashed as he pulled up injured in the heats.
Gemili had been aiming to improve on his fourth-placed finish at Rio 2016 where he missed out on bronze by three thousandths of a second, but stopped immediately after leaving the starting blocks before walking to the finish.
Here's what happened, plus the rest of the action from the men's 200m heats.
