Woaaaah, Canada's Andre De Grasse records a personal best but looked like he had LOADS left in the tank as he wins the final semi-final in the men's 200m.

We're gearing up for a special final. USA's Noah Lyles should go through as a fastest loser. Compatiot Kenny Bednarek finished second in that third semi-final and qualifies.

He pulled away right at the end, allowing Canada's Aaron Brown to take the win, which means he has to wait to see if he will progress.

He's hoping to join teenager Erriyon Knighton in the final after the teenager cruised to victory in his semi-final.

    Michael Johnson
Four-time Olympic gold medallist athlete on BBC TV

It is impressive to say the least and Erriyon Knighton runs this backwards. He runs slow at the very beginning and then he decides 'you know what I need to get into this' and before you know it he is in first place.

At 17 years old he runs with the maturity of a 25-year-old, like he has been to the Olympics before.

He was looking around a good 20m from the finish line after coming through the bend. Serious talent.

A highly anticipated women's 200m final (13:50 BST) sees Jamaica's reigning champion Elaine Thompson-Herah aiming to win an unprecedented women's sprint double-double.

After already clinching 100m gold, she goes up against fellow Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, US sprinter Gabby Thomas - the fastest woman over 200m this year - and Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas.

British trio Keely Hodgkinson, Jemma Reekie and Alex Bell will be on the start line together in the women's 800m final (13:25).

GB's Adam Gemili's hopes of a medal were dashed after injuring his hamstring in the final block start of his warm-up before going out for the 200m heats.
