It's hard to answer that, when they set consecutive world records.

Hand it to Germany, they were technically good, they paced themselves well, they have been the team of this competition. They've just been getting better and better. Incredible ride.

GB look very relaxed, they are just biding their time.

Germany are pushing themselves to the limit and are a little untidy on the track.

    BBC One

GB's four-time Olympic gold-medallist Laura Kenny speaking on BBC One: "I am brave, I'm confident, but I'm also nervous. I don't really put pressure on myself, I'm just riding a bike.

"When Albie (Laura's son) came along, it just changed everything. I relaxed a lot more. All of a sudden, every time I go home, I switch off. I always knew I wanted to be a young mum and prove that you could still have a career, you could do both.

"I do it for Albie now, all that time I've sacrificed, I'm not going to let it be for nothing. Why should it get in the way? I'm just going to race my bike and whatever happens, happens."

  19. Can GB sneak into medal race?published at 09:16 British Summer Time 3 August 2021

    Men's team sprint

    Reporter on BBC TV

So much drama here, you've no idea! The situation with the Danes has not been resolved yet. The Danes say that the gun had gone, they'd got the catch and therefore won the heat when the crash happened.

Britain are saying they hadn't won the heat. A similar situation happened not long ago in a World Cup event in St Petersburg and the rider who got the catch was disqualified.

At the moment, we don't know if Great Britain will sneak into that medal race, but that isn't too likely.
