    Team dressage final

Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, Germany's final rider, has been near faultless so far in her routine...

It will take a major error to divert her and her team from gold.

And gold for Germany would mean bronze for Britain.

It is not quite good enough!

Charlotte Dujardin and Gio score 2617.0. That is not quite enough to prevent the United States slipping ahead and into top spot after two groups.

Great Britain are in silver medal position, but the second-group leaders and hot favourites Germany are still to ride for a final time.

Dujardin on the floorpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 27 July 2021

Charlotte Dujardin and Gio are on the floor of the equestrian arena. Great Britain, in second after two groups, are under pressure after a very decent final ride from the United States, who were in bronze medal position earlier.

Sabine Schut-Kery scored 2684.5 for the Americans. Germany led by a distance after two groups. Is Dujardin riding for silver?

'Deserved equaliser for Team GB'published at 14:01 British Summer Time 27 July 2021

    FT: Canada 1-1 Great Britain

    Karen Carney
Former England and GB international on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was all about getting back in the game, you can see how much Great Britain wanted to win the group. The first half was cagey and nothing really happened and they got hit with a goal from a counter-attack. It was really good from Adriana Leon in particular.

Then it was about bringing the subs on and making changes. They really changed the energy of the game. Eventually they got the deserved equaliser from Caroline Weir.

They've done so well, we knew in qualification they had really small errors that they could rectify and they did!

    Women's team final

Great Britain looked out of contention at the halfway stage. That is incredible.

That 14.033 from Amelie Morgan in GB's final floor display gets them over the line, above Italy and Japan at the last.

    Unbelievable drama.

    Great Britain take the bronze!

1928 in Amsterdam was the last time that was achieved.

After the first two pieces of apparatus they were seventh but they've just worked so hard!

Snatched a bronze at the end.

    WOW!

Dujardin takes centre stagepublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 27 July 2021

We are heading into the pointy end of the team dressage final. These are the top three heading into the climax of the third and final group.

    • Germany 5392.5
    • Great Britain 5106.0
    • United States 5062.5

Charlotte Dujardin, riding last for Team GB, could become the first British woman to win gold medals at three Olympics. However, she might be more concerned with hanging onto silver with the USA snapping at GB's hooves...

'Caroline Weir deserves that'published at 13:48 British Summer Time 27 July 2021

    Canada 1-1 Great Britain

    Karen Carney
Former England and GB international on BBC Radio 5 Live

I do think the goalkeeper would have got to it without the deflection, but that deflection made her get nowhere near the ball.

You don't shoot, you don't score. Caroline Weir has deserved that. She's just been so good. She's brave to get on the ball even if someone is tight to her and you know it's going to be protected. She's playing forward passes all the time and that's what was lacking in the first half. You have to hit the highest player quicker.

That's what Kim Little has done. I think that relationship with Weir - and getting Fran Kirby on the ball - there's been a lot more dynamic movement this second half.

ROC on course for goldpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 27 July 2021

    Women's team final

Ah, that is a shame for Jordan Chiles. After replacing Simone Biles and doing so well to jump straight in and deliver on her first two rotations, a 11.70 on the floor looks like it may have brought an end to the USA's gold medal hopes.

And a huge 14.166 from the Russian Olympic Committee's Viktoria Listunova moves them three points ahead.
