    If you look at successful Super League teams, it is about bringing though the next generation of leaders, as well as having those who can teach them. Liam Farrell has been around the international set-up for the last couple of years and Brett Ferres will need to step up to the leadership stage.

    What business? Rugby League business of course. Those 24 men, along with coach Steve McNamara and his staff, make up the England squad which has travelled Down Under in their bid for Four Nations glory.

    Those pesky Australians and New Zealanders await further down the line, but their focus this morning* is fixed on beating opening opponents Samoa.
