Interesting to see the Hull KR body language in that huddle (following Briscoe's hat-trick try). They were loose, they weren't focused, they weren't looking in. They have some tired bodies out there.

  2. Hull KR 0-32 Leeds Rhinospublished at 70 mins

Something for Hull KR to smile about - a 40-20 kick by Albert Kelly. This one, unlike the one in the first half, will stand.

An attacking chance for Rovers, and a chance to get off the mark late on, but a forward pass brings all of their optimism to an end.

Briscoe slides over in the corner for a well-executed try. That is something that Leeds have done often - put the prop forward on the short side and it has worked very effectively all game.

A year ago, Leeds Rhinos ended their long wait to lift the Challenge Cup.

It had been 15 years since their 11th Cup success, and they made it 12 with victory over Castleford Tigers at Wembley.

They are 12 minutes away from a win that would take them ahead of St Helens in the all-time list, with only Wigan (19) having won the competition on more occasions.

  5. try

TRY (Briscoe hat-trick)published at 66 mins

    Hull KR 0-32 Leeds Rhinos

Leeds winger  Tom Briscoe completes a hat-trick, the seventh in Challenge Cup final history.

Kallum Watkins feeds Briscoe out wide and Briscoe touches down to extend the Rhinos' lead even further.

That's the first hat-trick in a Challenge Cup final since Chris Hicks for Warrington against Leeds in 2010.

I think that might be the Lance Todd Trophy sewn up, too...

This unstoppable Leeds Rhinos machine want to keep a blank sheet, as shown by their efforts to deny Hull KR a consolation score. Kieran Dixon almost jinks his way through but is eventually taken down.

It's at times like these that one reaches for the history books and looks up "record victories in Challenge Cup finals".

Leeds hold the record at present, courtesy of their 52-16 over London Broncos in 1999.

That 36-point margin of victory is under threat today.

TRY (Singleton, goal Sinfield)published at 58 mins

    Hull KR 0-28 Leeds Rhinos

Definitely "game over" now as Brad Singleton goes over for Leeds' fifth of the afternoon.

It's the easiest of tasks for the youngster, who collects a pass from Rob Burrow and goes over from close range, despite the best efforts of Kieran Dixon to deny him.

Leeds appear desperate to get the departing Jamie Peacock over the line in his last Challenge Cup final appearance - the veteran prop charges at the Hull KR defence but is tackled.

Rovers full-back Kieran Dixon knocks on for the third time in this second half, but he's saved by a call of offside by referee Ben Thaler.

  13. Hull KR 0-22 Leeds Rhinospublished at 50 mins

It's not been a prolific few years for Hull sides at Wembley. In 2013, Hull FC made it to the Challenge Cup final but failed to score a point against Wigan and lost 16-0.

Briscoe is committed, he goes for it and gets it, and then he pins his ears back and goes all the way. It is a fantastic finish by that man.

TRY (Briscoe, goal Sinfield)published at 47 mins

    Hull KR 0-22 Leeds Rhinos

Tom Briscoe has his second try of the afternoon and Leeds are within sight of a 13th Challenge Cup win.

The winger catches a high kick and races 90 metres to touch down, holding off Ken Sio to ground the ball in the corner.

Not quite Usain Bolt, but not far off. There was no catching Briscoe.

Kevin Sinfield converts from the touchline, via the post. Leeds ahead by 22 points.

Danny McGuire and Kevin Sinfield have been sensational in putting the ball where we wanted it at the end of sets. The way we have started sets and finished them has been key to this game.

We need more field position, Leeds have strangled us a little bit and kept us in our own half. If we can get that energy back and field position, we have a chance of posting some points.
