"Not much for Hull KR to cling to at half-time, except a few late flashes from playmaker Albert Kelly, in his first game back since the semi-final win over Warrington.

"The last time a team trailed by three first-half tries to nil at half-time at Wembley, it was Leeds themselves against Warrington in 2010 - and there was no way back that day as they eventually lost 30-6.

"And that is the heaviest Challenge Cup final defeat since the famous old trophy was first contested at the new Wembley in 2007."

We have turned over possession in their half and they have had all possession down our end.

We know from last year that if we stick to our game plan we will get ourselves a good chance of winning. We have plenty of respect for Hull KR, we just need to do a bit more with the ball in the second half now. They have a way back into the game, but 16-0 is a pretty good lead. We just need to build on that with good defence.

Even if Hull KR pull off a sensational second-half comeback, we've probably already seen the moment of the day at Wembley.

Lizzie Jones received the warmest of welcomes from the 80,000 crowd as she prepared to sing Abide with Me before kick-off.

Lizzie's husband, Keighley Cougars half-back Danny Jones, died earlier this year at the age of 29.

Three tries within the opening 20 minutes have put Leeds in complete control of this Challenge Cup final.

Brett Delaney, Danny McGuire and Tom Briscoe have all crossed for the holders to leave Hull KR a monumental task to turn this one around.

Much better, this, by Hull KR. Possession and territory. But still no points.

You feel they have to get on the scoresheet before the interval to stand any chance in this final.

Albert Kelly's superb 40-20 kick gets Hull KR up the field and into a dangerous area - the sort of magic required to turn this match around.

But hang on - referee Ben Thaler has reversed the decision. Kelly's foot was just outside the 40-metre line, so it's a Leeds ball.

How is that not a Leeds try?

Rhinos winger Ryan Hall takes advantage of a Hull KR ricochet and gathers the ball 10 metres out.

He has two players in support and only one defender to beat, but he runs into full-back Kieran Dixon and is held up. Big escape for Rovers.

Rovers can’t buy any field position. Leeds' defence is a very aggressive defence, technically a very good defence and structurally a very sound defence. They are strangling Hull Kingston Rovers out of the game.

As good as Leeds have been going forward, their defence is breathtaking at times. Maurice Blair sends a high kick to Hull KR's right touchline, but Ryan Hall hangs in the air for an age before clutching the ball safely to his chest.

A decent couple of minutes for Rovers, but they need more than decent to win this after the Rhinos' early salvo.

Almost a response for Rovers, who get good field position and win the ball when Josh Mantellato pats back a high kick. However, Kris Welham's kick through is just overhit and goes dead.

The first five of them (2003, 2005, 2010, 2011, 2012) ended in defeat, before Sinfield finally lifted the trophy for the first time as a captain in 2014.

Could be another victory on the way for the man Leeds fans call "Sir Kev", unless Hull KR can mount a comeback...

A third for Leeds, who are rampant at Wembley, and it's a superb one.

Rhinos winger Ryan Hall catches the kick-off in the centre of the field and sends it wide to Carl Ablett. He's brought down but the ball is worked to the right side, where Tom Briscoe darts through a wall of defenders in red to touch down.

Less than 20 minutes gone and this one could be over already.

Danny McGuire marks his 400th career appearance with Leeds' second try.

Hull KR never recovered from their ball spill at the other end, Rhinos centre Joel Moon makes the break and feeds McGuire to cross easily.

Kevin Sinfield kicks his second goal and it's 12-0 to Leeds.

The opportunity goes begging for Hull KR as captain Tyrone McCarthy spills the ball and it's returned to Leeds near their own try line.
