    Hull KR 0-6 Leeds Rhinos

Well, Leeds have the opening try and it's Brett Delaney who has it.

Jamie Peacock dropped the ball on the way to the line, and it bounced into the grateful arms of Delaney, who touched down under the posts.

Superb start for the Rhinos, a big test ahead for Hull KR.

  5. TRY REVIEWpublished at 7 mins

    Hull KR 0-0 Leeds Rhinos

Albert Kelly is pulled up for a ball steal and Leeds get a penalty 30 metres out. A huge initial drive from Mitch Garbutt gains valuable ground and Jamie Peacock might be over?! To the video referee, we go.

  6. Hull KR 0-0 Leeds Rhinospublished at 5 mins

Leeds twice take it all the way back to Hull KR's 10-metre line but run out of tackles, Rovers twice respond by kicking long late in their own tackle count. Neither side able to create any meaningful opportunities thus far.

  7. Hull KR 0-0 Leeds Rhinospublished at 2 mins

A decent, calming first set of six for Hull KR, who are the undoubted underdogs this afternoon. The last thing they would have wanted was to make a silly error in the first couple of minutes, and they haven't.

He has been the best signing we have ever made as a club, certainly in the modern era. We wouldn't have won half the trophies we have without Jamie Peacock being here.

As the two sides make their way onto the Wembley turf, Tyrone McCarthy will have thoughts of extending his excellent record in Challenge Cup finals - it currently reads played two, won two. He even scored a try in Warrington's victory over Leeds three years ago.

Today, he is leading out Hull KR as the club play in their first Challenge Cup final for 29 years.

"Hopefully it's a hat-trick of wins," McCarthy told BBC Radio Humberside. "It will be extra special as captain. It's a massive honour for me.

"Personally, it's about getting out there and doing what it takes for us to get the win."

From when I came to the club in 2006, Kevin Sinfield's leadership has gone through the roof and that is why we have been successful. It is him leading from the front and delivering standards. There is no compromising, it’s non-negotiable - you have to behave this way to stay in the team.

Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield is switching codes to rugby union at the end of the season and wants to finish on a high - there's a possibility they could win a domestic treble.

The first leg of their bid to win a trio of trophies is today, although the former England skipper is well aware of the threat posed by today's Challenge Cup final opponents.

Sinfield told BBC Radio Leeds: "Hull KR have caused us some problems this year - we've had two really tough games against them.

"This competition can throw up all sorts of shocks, and it's a competition that Hull KR have played their best stuff in. Beating Wigan and Warrington shows that they can be very dangerous."

Leeds have been the dominant force in Super League this term, topping the table for much of the campaign. They have a four-point lead over second-placed Wigan and have won their last six matches in all competitions.

  20. No time for 'romantic thoughts'published at 15:00

Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos (15:15 BST)

    Quote Message

I had a walk out with Jamie Peacock this morning and we were looking back at some of the things he has done, and we spoke about boats on the River Thames and all sorts. As I was walking with him, I thought would it be great for him, Kylie (Leuluai) and Kevin Sinfield to go out on a high at Wembley because who knows what will happen at the end of the year? But you quickly give your head a shake and think we have a game soon, we have to talk about the nuts and bolts about what wins you games. There are a lot of things you can focus on in a final - it is about focusing on the right things and they take over those romantic thoughts.
