There will not be any complacency today. It is important to get us back on track.

We need to get into a position to get to the semi-final and spike again. The plan would be to try to use these three games as preparation for that semi-final or final.

Lebanon have 11 NRL players so they are no mugs.

England sit third in the four-team group having lost their opening game to Australia as Lebanon beat France.

The defending champions then made it two from two when they thrashed France 52-6 on Friday.

England will face France in their final Group A game on 12 November, with the top three sides qualifying for the quarter-finals.

And here's that hammering the Aussies dished out yesterday...

    England v Lebanon (09:00 GMT)

England slipped to an 18-4 defeat by Australia on the opening day of the World Cup, making it their 12th consecutive loss against the defending champions.

Winger Jermaine McGillvary gave England the perfect start by collecting Gareth Widdop's high pass to touch down in the corner after four minutes.

But Australia recovered, and Cameron Smith added a crucial penalty after 75 minutes to extend the Kangaroos lead beyond a converted try and Josh Dugan scored an 80-metre interception try a minute from the end.

But there was a shock in the other Group A game, as Lebanon beat France 29-18 to get their campaign off to a flying start.
