PNG are taking their opportunities. Elliot Whitehead jumped out of the line to try and solve the problem, but he created another one.

After Elliott Whitehead coughs up a loose offload with England pressing for another score... Papua New Guinea get the ball back and make the breakthrough of their own.

Garry Lo profiting from some good work inside by Paul Aiton and Willie Minoga, to cross.

Enjoy that Cas fans. He'll be running them in for you next year.

England are absolutely ruthless. Roby has had a massive effect with how he's come to the game this second half.

He has the ability to just scheme and make pace. But England's impatience is taking away the ability to get the bonuses out of it.

I'd love to see Roby start for England, I think he compliments the team so much more.

Mark F: Superb try. Widdop has been outstanding at full back. Think he’s found his new home and place

    Ben Currie, con Gareth Widdop

Ben Currie gathers to score and will get the headlines but the plaudits also must go to James Roby and Gareth Widdop in the build-up.

Roby cut loose, took on the PNG defence and got a smart offload away to Widdop. The St George Illawarra half-back, in at full-back, popped the ball onto the edge of his toe and slid a perfect kick in behind for the onrushing Currie to clutch and put down.

Sublime. First time that left-side has executed. Good to see Currie on it too.

How good is James Roby? Sets a platform for England with another scything bust through the middle.

Then the kick is poor and Papua New Guinea come forward again.

    It's wide open.

I don't think the score does justice to how dominant England have been with the ball. Every time they have it they make easy metres, every time they get to the edges they look lie scoring.

Papua New Guinea buy a penalty there for tackle in the air, after Stargroth Amean tumbles with John Bateman in his eyeline.

PNG look to bring it away with Luke Page. There's an impressive video collection of his tackle hits on a popular video-sharing website.

England get the ball back off the PNG set. Let's see something special eh?

England cannot keep doing this to themselves - clearly we are hoping that they can flick a switch.

If there were points being dished out for the daftest mistake, then this would be a close game.

The scoreline at the moment remains 14-0, both sides have had field position but tossed it away like an old t-shirt.

England have gears to go up.

England swarm on a loose play-the-ball from PNG and they have the ball back within 20 metres...

No they don't. Ridiculous error gives the ball away.

Watson Boas makes monster metres. But is culled by Gareth Widdop. PNG still on it here...

Just as I published "Great set", England knock on at the play-the-ball. Mind you, Jermaine McGillvary on review didn't actually knock-on. The offence still stands.

Meanwhile, Sam Burgess wins the ball back with a big hit. Then booms a ball into touch. Rocks and diamonds, says Brian Noble.

A smart catch from Widdop a minute or so ago - he protected himself when he was on the floor. We raved about him last week in relation to his attacking prowess, his timing and his tempo. But he's come up with some good defending today.

When James Roby comes on the field, everything is simplified. When there's space he just picks the ball up and runs. James is black and white - it's either run or pass.

You really want England to wind up here but at the moment it's like they're not quite in the rhythm yet.

Kevin Brown has come off for Roby by the way. Took a whack in the first-half. Hope he's alright.

Meanwhile, another superb take by Gareth Widdop to mop up a tester of a kick on the last.
