Perhaps the biggest rugby league news of the week is Wigan signing former Castleford and Leeds full-back Zak Hardaker,

The 26-year-old England international is currently serving a suspension after testing positive for cocaine in the build-up to the 2017 Super League Grand Final, so will not feature for them this evening.

Hardaker will join the Cherry and Whites for training in September but will be eligible to play when his 14-month drugs ban ends in November.

The 2015 Man of Steel has agreed a four-year deal with Wigan as he aims to get his career back on track.

  2. St Helens beat Widnespublished at 17:04 British Summer Time 19 May 2018
