    It's been a day of highs and lows, with Hull valiantly battling against a rampant Wigan side coming after an incredible advert for rugby league as Warrington edged out St Helens.

    Wigan Warriors back Bevan French told BBC Sport:

    "We knew what Hull were capable of and it was important to get a good start, which made it a lot easier.

    "We changed our game plan after Hull KR and it was important that completion rates were high in the first 20 minutes.

    "We wanted to put some practice in to the grind and kicking to the corners, but we fell away a bit from the game plan. We have a lot to work on for next week."

    All over and Wigan see out the victory against Hull FC and go through to face Leeds in the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

    In all honesty, that was over after about five minutes, and Hull understandably looked tired after three games in nine days.

    Blimey, Marc Sneyd plays a fantastic kick which he catches himself and offloads in quick succession as Hull test Wigan on the counter.

    However Wigan scramble to close them down almost as soon as they think they're through.

    Great stuff from both sides.

    Both sides exchanging some big tackles but there's some indiscipline and frustration from Hull as they concede a penalty on halfway.

    Wigan continue their attack and Liam Farrell links up with a fantastic offload from Sean O'Loughlin to score his second try of this match.
