    Leeds 12-6 Salford

    Oh dear, oh dear.

Salford do brilliantly to force a goal-line drop out, but Tui Lolohea miscontrols Rhyse Martin's kick with his feet and it dribbles out of play, giving Leeds the ball back.

Could that be a turning point?

Meanwhile, it's an elbow injury for Adam Cuthbertson and Tyrone McCarthy is having a head injury assessment, but both players could yet return.

John Woods: Salford just need to stay in the game in the first 20 of the 2nd half and they'll be in with a shout.

Leeds' Tom Briscoe channels his inner Martin Offiah circa 1994, striding away from Salford defenders.

He gets to halfway before being halted, and the move fizzles out.

A couple of injury scares early in the second half - Leeds forward Adam Cuthbertson is off with what looks like a shoulder problem and Salford's Tyrone McCarthy is off the field too.

Salford have got some experienced players. There will be no panic from them. Six points is nothing to turn around in 40 minutes and they have experience of doing that already.

The blueprint from Leeds is to be relentless in that kick chase.

It's been a quality game of contrasting styles. Leeds have based their game on kick pressure and kick chase, and Salford have been trying to throw the ball around. It's been exciting stuff.

It has been a great first half. Leeds have been dominant and dominated field position but Salford, given the opportunity, have been creative and dangerous.

Salford get within five metres of the try line but Joey Lussick is robbed of the ball by Adam Cuthbertson and that will probably be that for the first half.

Talking of stand-out players, add Richie Myler to that list.

The Leeds full-back gathers a kick near his own line and carries brilliantly through a series of red shirts to set Leeds on the attack.

The tackle before Ash Handley's try, Liam Sutcliffe looked destined to score for Leeds but was superbly denied by Kallum Watkins, who has been one of the stand-out players of the first half.

There are some tired bodies out there as we get closer to the interval.

That was marvellous from Richie Myler. You have to admire skill like that. It was 10 out of 10 for skill execution.

Leeds are back in front with half-time approaching.

The Rhinos go left and a world-class quick pass from Richie Myler creates space out wide and Ash Handley strolls in for Leeds.

Another superb goal kick from Rhyse Martin extends the Rhinos' lead to six.

  20. Leeds try ruled out by video refereepublished at 28 mins

    Leeds 6-6 Salford

James Donaldson claims a second Leeds try and it's sent upstairs by referee Liam Moore, who signals "try".

However, video ref Ben Thaler spots a double movement from Donaldson - his ball-carrying arm had already hit the ground before he then made another attempt to ground the ball - and it won't count.

This final is a great watch.
