Even more late team news. Greig Laidlaw is pulled out of the Gloucester line-up, so Dan Robson is elevated from the bench.
Saracens registered a reasonably comfortable 28-21 win when the sides met in October.
In fact, Gloucester haven't beat Sarries in any of their last three Premiership meetings, with their last win a 28-23 success at Kingsholm in April 2013.
I think they'd shake your hand and say "thank you very much, sir" if you offered it up tonight.
It feels like this is a pivotal moment in Gloucester's season too. Their results have been all over the shop so far.
Last week's win over Exeter, a first victory in three games, could - could - be the start of something for the club down in 9th in the table.
Director of rugby David Humphreys said: "It was an important win from a morale point of view, and gets the New Year off to a winning start. With 10 games still to go it gives us a bit of enthusiasm and encouragement going into this next phase of games.
"There's been a bit of a buzz about training this week, but also a note of reality because Saracens are coming to Kingsholm and, over the course of the past few seasons, they've shown themselves to be one of the top teams. Our record against the top teams hasn't been great this season so it's a big opportunity."
Big game this for Saracens. A win would put them second, above Bath on points difference, with the Rec side set to host Wasps on Saturday.
Mark McCall's men seemed to suffering a hangover from their Premiership and Heineken Cup final defeats, but are now back on tract with three successive wins.
"It will definitely be a game we have to be on our toes the whole time, but we pride ourselves on our defensive structure and we have the right players to deal with them," said prop Petrus du Plessis.
"If our set-piece can function well then we will get front-foot ball. We've also been working hard not to give silly penalties away and correcting that side of things."
So, what do you think of Alex Goode at 10 for Sarries?
As always, these live text commentaries just aren't quite the same without your input.

There's also a late switch for Gloucester, who were initially supposed to be unchanged from the XV that started the 26-25 win at Exeter.
Tom Palmer is unwell so Elliot Stooke starts at lock.
There are also a couple of noteworthy appearances, as hooker Darren Dawidiuk and England wing Jonny May make their 100th appearances for the Cherry and Whites.
Congratulations boys on being a ton up.
Let's get straight down to some team news, as there's been a bit of shuffling around on both sides.
The most notable change is Owen Farrell's late withdrawal. The England number 10 has a "minor strain", so Alex Goode moves forward to fly-half and Ben Ransom slots in at full-back.
It doesn't sound like a bad one for Farrell, but Stuart Lancaster might well be on the blower to find out if the stand-off will be fighting fit for the Six Nations.
All joviality aside, it is a sad weekend, as Premiership rugby deserts us for a month, until it returns in mid-February.
So let's make the most of the next three days while we can. Here are the fixtures in round 13.
As Rebecca Black, external infamously and excruciatingly once sung: "It's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday."
And get down is what we shall do Rebecca, with red hot Premiership action as Gloucester, fresh off a win over top-four candidates Exeter, host in-form Saracens at Kingsholm.
Kick-off is but half an hour away.
