  1. Trypublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Scotland's tackling suddenly goes all flaky on them as they reveal an unexpectedly soft centre under pressure from a Jonathan Davies charge.

The Wales centre comes steaming onto a crashball, shrugs off replacement Matt Scott, sends Stuart Hogg a little dummy and burns away from Jonny Gray.

In under the posts and that might be game, set and match.

"Scotland will be encouraged, there will be momentum shifts, and Scotland will have the opportunities. Wales have turned down some kicking opportunities - they could be nine points in front."

  4. Missed penaltypublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

    Well, well, well.

Leigh Halfpenny, who wobbled as he kicked his last penalty, shanks an ambitious attempt at the limit of his range. He has missed for the first time today off the tee.

Still just three points in it.

"The Welsh power plays are beginning to work for them, the Scottish tackles are creaking and allowing Wales to get on the front foot."

    Good spot Mr Jackson.

Alun Wyn Jones and Jake Ball detached off the front of a rolling maul and clearly obstruct a Scotland defender as Rhys Webb and Liam Williams scamper over the whitewash behind them.

Warren Gatland is searching for something kickable in the coaches box.

    TMO

It looks a clear score as Liam Williams streaks into the corner up the blind side. But Glen Jackson has spotted something that needs investigation from up in the gods...

Wales looming up to the Scotland 22-metre line. A little glimmer for Liam Williams, but Stuart Hogg cuts him down at the knees. A penalty for Wales as Scotland pilfer illegally and Leigh Halfpenny punts into the corner rather than going for goal...

  12. Postpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

BBC Wales' Dafydd Pritchard at Murrayfield: "It's taken a while but 'Bread of Heaven' has just had its first airing of the afternoon at Murrayfield.

"Wales' fans might have been buoyed by their side's scrum, which seems to have benefited from the substitution of Scotland's Geoff Cross.

"His departure also means Wales now have the edge in the beard stakes, with lock Jake Ball's facial hair now without doubt the most impressive on the pitch."

    Gregg Laidlaw

"You just sense this game is going to turn on a mistake or a bit of brilliance. The forwards are cancelling each other out.

"The quality of kicking is amongst the best in the world. The Scottish supporters need to get behind their team here."

  16. Penaltypublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2015

Jake Ball gets over-eager, charging into a tackle on Johnnie Beattie before the Scotland eight has got his hands on the ball.

Penalty to Scotland and it is on the limits of Greig Laidlaw's range, 40m to goal. That is a 24-carat strike from the Scottish skipper though, on and on it flies and up pop the linesmen's flags.

You don't see many of those to the pound. A scrum against the head as the ball dribbles Wales way off a shin in the Scotland engineroom. But Rhys Webb wastes the chance, fumbling from Taulupe Faletau's pop-up.
