Ireland 7-12 Scotlandpublished at 52 mins
Urgh. It's all a bit ugly. Passes are loose. Handling is messy. But somehow Scotland manage to edge their way to the Ireland 22. Pyrgos sees a chance to kick and chase but it's way too ambitious.

Visser is so close to wriggling free down the left flank, but Zebo just about gets a hand to the wing's boot. Scotland switch it and have lots of lovely green grass to use, but a series of sloppy passes see it go to waste.
Mike Cusack is on for Scotland, replacing Jon Welsh who is having a head injury assessed.
Ireland win a penalty at the scrum and build from a line-out.
Great defence from Scotland's Cowan, who rips the ball out of Dave Kilcoyne's grasp on his own 22. The visitors have the scrum after a knock-on.
It was more badly-organised defence from Ireland but great awareness from Henry Pyrgos. I'm not sure Joe Schmidt will tolerate this for much longer, I think we can expect the Ireland bench to be emptied, there's a real flatness about them and no buzz.
Who saw this coming after the first 15 minutes then? Come on, be honest.
Some bad news for Scotland though as Ryan Grant, who looks like he has twisted something, is carried off.
The problem for Scotland in the Six Nations was that they were getting into the opposition 22 and not able to go over for tries. But they seem to have remedied that by narrowing things and punching holes. It will be interesting to see how Ireland respond to this situation.

Great number nine play from Henry Pyrgos. He gives it to Jon Welsh who's barging forward. Pyrgos collects at the breakdown and it's a pick and go, finding a gap to touch down, despite the grasp of Mike Ross.
It's not a straightforward conversion and Horne can't nail it. Add that to the penalty he missed in the first half.
Chris Henry almost causes chaos for Ireland, mishandling in his own half. He's off the hook as his team-mates turn it over. It gets pretty scrappy as Visser takes an up and under. Richie Vernon is chasing but once again the ball is bobbling everywhere.

Ian Madigan with the kick. Sean Lamont with the receive. We have second-half action.

Scotland have proved they're more credible opponents than Wales were last week. If Ireland were expecting an easy run, it hasn't turned out that way. Part of that is because of Ireland's performance. Joe Schmidt will emphasise the positives - scrummage dominance, that the line-outs have gone well. But disappointing aspects have been handling errors and a couple of occasions when they were exposed out wide.

Plenty of photos of delighted Ireland fans with miserable Wales fans from last weekend. Awkward.

Don't forget, after we're done in Dublin, it's over to Twickenham where England host France.
Dylan Hartley will be there. Watching from the stands.
For those who missed it, the Northampton and England hooker is out of the World Cup reckoning after one moment of indiscipline too many for head coach Stuart Lancaster.
Rav Wilding is the ex-copper who used to present Crimewatch - best behaviour Dylan!
I have to be honest. After the first 15 minutes, I saw nothing but Scotland being steamrollered. But they recovered admirably after Henry's try, and have shown they can control the pace and move it into the Irish 22. David Denton has been fun to watch at eight - hard and fast is that boy.
Ireland seem to have been drawn into a tit-for-tat battle and brought down to the level of Scotland. There will be some hairdryer treatment from Joe Schmidt in the Ireland dressing room and a reminder of what's at stake, namely a place in Ireland's World Cup starting line-up.
Ireland 7-7 Scotland
Ireland are given one last opportunity from the line-out. It's tidy as Conan wins it and finds Cronin, but it breaks down and we're at half-time.
