    Tempers flare up at The Stoop moments after Owen Farrell restores the visitor's five-point lead with another penalty,

    Rhys Gill was sent to the sin bin by referee Craig Maxwell-Keys following a tip-tackle, driving a Harlequins' George Lowe into the ground head-first.

    But the referee reviews the footage with the TMO, overturns his decision and shows Gill red instead.

    Can Quins take advantage?

    Harlequins win a penalty following a scrum in the Saracens half, after a long kick from Mike Ellery went dead.

    Ben Botica, on for Nick Evans, bisects the posts to bring Quins back to within two points of the Premiership leaders.

    It all sounds a bit subdued at Welford Road now, the home support stunned by that interception try from George North.

    But their team do, at least, have the ball in hand and are in enemy territory.

    Charlie Sharples goes over in the corner after a 5m scrum was recycled by Gloucester and the wing went over for their first try. Billy Burns sends over a super conversion to reduce the deficit to nine points.

    Following consultation with the TMO, Saracens are denied their third try of the afternoon.

    The grounding looks ok but referee Craig Maxwell-Keys decides to take the play back for a penalty for Harlequins for a crossing incident in the build-up.

    Owen Farrell kicked a second penalty for Sarries a few minutes ago, so the north Londoners now lead by five points.

    Leicester have made a strong old start to this second period, working through 18, 19, 20 phases of play... But what have they done here?!

    Eventually they spill the ball as their attack begins to go backwards, it's picked up by Wales wing George North and he shows some serious wheels to sprint clear and dot the ball down beneath the posts.

    JJ Hanrahan converts and it really is game on at Welford Road.

    Owen Farrell puts Saracens back ahead from the penalty tee after Quins were penalised for being off their feet at the breakdown.

    Farrell then has a nervous moment as Craig Maxwell-Keys goes to the television match official for a tackle on Mike Brown, but the referee decides to take no action.

    The sold-out crowd at The Stoop has been treated to a great encounter so far.

    Good news from Saracens that George Kruis is up and about in the changing room after the lock took an early knock to the head.

    Leicester sprinted into a 21-0 lead thanks to tries from Matt Smith, Lachlan McCaffrey and Owen Williams - but that touchdown by Teimana Harrison moments before the break has kept Northampton within touching distance.
