  1. Leicester 21-3 Northamptonpublished at 15:58

With our two 15:00 GMT kick-offs halted for half-time, Leicester and Northampton continue to plod along in the mud at Welford Road.

There has been a bit of bad news for Tigers, too, as fly-half Owen Williams has been forced off with an injury of some description. Freddie Burns is on in his place.

  2. Half-timepublished at 15:56

    Harlequins 15-14 Saracens

And moments after Harlequins take the lead, referee Craig Maxwell-Keys blows for half-time.

Quins have shown great character to come back after going down to 14 men early on and Saracens took the lead.

We've got a great second half in store.

  4. try

Try (Clifford, con Evans)published at 15:51

    Harlequins 15-14 Saracens

Harlequins get their second try of the afternoon following an incredible passage of attacking play.

After a break from Marland Yarde gets them to within a metre of the line, Nick Evans shows brilliant hands, off-loading in the air, to set up Jack Clifford to score.

Evans adds the extras to give Quins the lead on the stroke of half-time.

  5. Leicester 21-3 Northamptonpublished at 15:51

The teams are squaring up again at Welford Road, but still referee Wayne Barnes is unmoved. For Northampton's part, you suspect the anger on display is borne out of frustration more than anything else.

Nonetheless, JJ Hanrahan dusts himself off to split the posts from around 30 metres and get Saints on the board.

  6. Harlequins 8-14 Saracenspublished at 15:45

Nick Evans, Harlequins' all-time leading points scorer in the Premiership, reduces the arrears with a penalty.

Saracens have had the majority of territory but Quins look threatening with the ball in hand.

Just over five minutes to half time following that lengthy stoppage following Kruis' injury.

  7. Half-timepublished at 15:44

    Exeter 19-0 Gloucester

Admittedly Exeter had the wind in their favour but that was a very one-sided half at Sandy Park with the hosts taking a 19-point advantage into the break.

Two early Thomas Waldrom tries and a further effort for Olly Woodburn as well as two Gareth Steenson conversions gave Exeter a healthy first-half lead.

  8. try

Try (Williams, con Williams)published at 15:41

    Leicester 21-0 Northampton

My word, this is getting messy.

Graham Kitchener's superb grab from the up and under provides the platform, but Ben Youngs is simply afforded too big a gap to snipe through around the breakdown - and the England scrum-half tees up Owen Williams for the easiest of finishes beneath the posts.

The Welshman adds the extras and the Tigers are running riot at Welford Road.

  9. try

Try (McCaffrey, con Williams)published at 15:38

    Leicester 14-0 Northampton

And this time there's just no stopping that Leicester catch-and-drive, as Lachlan McCaffrey squeezes in behind his fellow forwards to touch down in the pile sand behind the try-line.

Owen Williams' conversion from the touchline is as straight as a dye and Tigers are 14-0 up.

Another strong scrum from Saracens leads to their second try of the afternoon.

Number eight Billy Vunipola picks up from the base of the scrum and crashes over on what is his 50th appearance for Sarries.

    Owen Farrell adds the extras.

  11. Leicester 7-0 Northamptonpublished at 15:37

It's taken 18 minutes but, worry not ladies and gentlemen, we have our first scuffle at Welford Road.

Northampton infringe at a line-out five metres from their own line, prompting a fair dose of squaring up from both sets of players.

Wayne Barnes keeps his cards in his pocket - for now - but Leicester are heading for the corner again...

  12. try

Try (Buchanan, missed con Evans)published at 15:31

    Harlequins 5-7 Saracens

After Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell misses a penalty at goal, hooking his kick wide of the uprights, Quins hit back.

A good line-out allows Danny Care to make a great break and he sets up Rob Buchanan to score in the corner.

A huge roar greets the score at the Stoop but Nick Evans can't add the extras for the home side.

Northampton Saints, in their less-than-pretty grey away strip complete with sky blue trim, have responded quite well to conceding that early try and win themselves a penalty in front of the posts.

But JJ Hanrahan, preferred to Stephen Myler at number 10 today, hooks his attempt wide of the near upright and Leicester's lead remains at seven points after 10 minutes.

  14. try

Try (Woodburn, con Steenson)published at 15:24

    Exeter 19-0 Gloucester

Gloucester allow Gareth Steenson's chip to bounce and it causes mayhem in their 22, the ball eventually finds its way to Olly Woodburn on the wing and he touches down Exeter's third try.

Steenson sends over his second conversion.

  15. try

Try (de Kock, con Farrell)published at 15:20

    Harlequins 0-7 Saracens

Saracens pile on the early pressure and, after winning a penalty in the Quins 22 and opting for the scrum, their forwards assert their dominance.

Following a succession of penalties against the Harlequins pack, the Sarries pack bundles over and Neil de Kock touches down.

We had a lengthy stoppage while Saracens lock George Kruis received treatment following that early clash with James Horwill.

The Australian is almost ready to come back on.

  16. try

Try (Smith, con Williamspublished at 15:18

    Leicester 7-0 Northampton

Much of the pre-match talk may well have been about the long-awaited return of Manu Tuilagi - but it's fellow Tigers centre Matt Smith who has the first say in the East Midlands derby.

The hosts enjoy early front-foot ball, allowing the 30-year-old to step past one challenge, dummy the pass and cross the whitewash from close range.

Owen Williams converts and Leicester have made the perfect start.

  19. try

Try (Waldrom, missed con Steenson)published at 15:11

    Exeter 12-0 Gloucester

It's another try for Exeter and another try for that man Thomas Waldrom who finishes off a driving maul after superb work from his fellow forwards. Gloucester in danger of being blown away here. Steenson misses with the conversion.

  20. try

Try (Waldrom, con Steenson)published at 15:08

    Exeter 7-0 Gloucester

James Hook's kick is charged down by Julian Salvi and Thomas Waldrom is in the right place to touch the loose ball down. Gareth Steenson adds the extras and Exeter have the perfect start.
