Premiership leaders Saracens came from 13-0 down at half-time to record a fine win over struggling Bath.

Tom Homer's converted try and two Rhys Priestland penalties had put the Blue, Black and Whites ahead.

Bath were made to withstand severe pressure after the break, but their defence finally buckled when Schalk Brits crossed with 10 minutes left.

Hodgson then added two late penalties to secure victory for Sarries, their biggest-ever comeback in the league.

Leicester Tigers scored two second-half tries to come from behind in a frantic finale for an exciting Premiership victory over Gloucester at Kingsholm.

Trailing 12-7 at half-time, Telusa Veainu got one back before Tommy Bell converted fellow replacement Logovi'i Mulipola's late try in the corner.

Gloucester's two first-half tries came from James Hook, who finished with a 13-point haul, and Ben Morgan.

Marcos Ayerza scored Leicester's other try, his first in 95 matches.

Sale Sharks scored four unanswered second-half tries against Premiership strugglers London Irish to maintain their unbeaten home record this season.

Tries from Brian Mujati and TJ Ioane put Sale 12-10 up at the break, with Shane Geraghty kicking seven points for Irish, including converting a penalty try, in blustery conditions.

Sam James went over for Sale's third score within a minute of the restart.

A pair of Nev Edwards tries and Sam Tuitupou's effort ensured the easy win.

Saracens left it very late, only taking the lead on 73 minutes, but they piled on the pressure during the second half.

Sarries are now seven points clear at the top of the Premiership table thanks to that victory, with second-placed Exeter in action at Worcester tomorrow.

The north London side have still only lost one match this season.

Ben Ransom kicks to touch following a line-out and brings an end to a great comeback from Saracens.

The Premiership leaders left it very late, but it marks their biggest ever comeback in the league.

Bath take a losing bonus point but that will be scant consolation for their defensive effort.

Television footage shows David Wilson shoving Petrus du Plessis in the neck, and the Bath prop is sent to the sin-bin. 

That is their 10th yellow card in the Premiership this season.

The visitors will play out the final 35 seconds with 14 men.

Bath are penaiised, somewhat harshly, for a forward pass and Saracens have a scrum on their 10-metre line with under 90 seconds left.

Sarries win the penalty at the scrum and then there's a bit of a set-to between the two packs. Referee Dean Richards goes to the TMO.

Kelly Brown is disrupted in the air at the line-out and Charlie Hodgson extends the home side's lead with another penalty.

And Saracens take the lead for the first time this afternoon with 73 minutes on the clock thanks to another Hodgson penalty.

Bath have put in so much effort but need to find something extra if they are to win this game.

A brilliant grubber kick from Matt Banahan means Sarries have a line-out in their own 22, but Bath can't take advantage.

However the visitors have been defending in their own 22 for most of the second half so are enjoying this respite from Saracens attacks.

It's heartbreak for Gloucester as Leicester score in the dying minutes to pinch the win.

The home side failed to kick on from their eight-point half-time lead despite dominating possession after the break. With Ben Morgan in the bin, Gloucester's defence were stretched and Leicester worked their opportunity well. Replacement prop Logovi'i Mulipola with the decisive try before Tommy Bell's conversion secured the points.

Bath breathe a big sigh of relief. Saracens go through 17 phases from another line-out, and the visitors somehow keep their concentration to repel wave after wave of attack.

Eventually Sarries knock-on and Bath clear the danger.

Bath have made 112 tackles to 45 from Saracens so far this afternoon. An enormous amount of work and 15 minutes left.
