Leicester with all the early possession and they should be ahead. Gloucester are pulled for being off their feet but Freddie Burns puts a very kickable penalty wide of the post.

Saracens make four changes to the side which beat Toulouse last weekend, as Ben Ransom is named at full-back and Richard Wigglesworth starts at scrum-half.

Prop Petrus du Plessis and lock Maro Itoje come into the pack for Sarries, who suffered their first defeat of the season in their last league outing against Harlequins.

Two games up and running, one more to go. It's time for all the team news from Allianz Park...

  6. Kick-offpublished at 15:01

    Gloucester 0-0 Leicester

We're under way in the second game of the afternoon at Kingsholm, where Billy Twelvetrees is hoping to lead the home side to victory against his former club.

James Hook launches a high kick which is collected by Dom Barrow.

  7. Sale 12-3 London Irishpublished at 15:00

Not the easiest conditions for kicking at goal, I think it's fair to say, as a rare London Irish foray into Sale Sharks territory ends with Shane Geraghty sending a penalty wide of the posts.

Just over 10 minutes to go until half-time.

  10. try

Try (Ioane, con Cipriani)published at 14:52

    Sale 12-3 London Irish

Sale Sharks, unbeaten at home in the Premiership this season, have taken another decent step towards extending that record as TJ Ioane touches down for their second try of the afternoon.

Danny Cipriani this time converts and the Exiles find themselves nine points behind.

  11. Team newspublished at 14:51

    Gloucester v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

Peter Betham, Greg Bateman and Tommy Bell all start for Leicester but Ben Youngs and Dan Cole are on England duty and Tom Youngs is banned.

England centre Manu Tuilagi misses out for the Tigers because of a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old only returned to Leicester's starting line-up for the win over Treviso on 16 January after a 15-month absence with a groin problem.

Replacements: Thacker, Brugnara, Mulipola, de Chaves, Crane, Kitto, Camacho, Roberts.

  12. Team newspublished at 14:48

    Gloucester v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

Gloucester make seven changes to the side that won 14-11 at Zebre as they host Leicester.

Billy Twelvetrees captains the side against his former club, while Charlie Sharples and James Hook also return to the starting line-up.

Paddy McAllister, Richard Hibbard, Tom Savage, Jeremy Thrush and Sione Kalamafoni all return to the pack.

Replacements: Dawidiuk, Wood, Thomas, Galarza, Kvesic, Laidlaw, Burns, Atkinson.

  13. Sale 5-3 London Irishpublished at 14:46

As Sale Sharks continue to press forward at the AJ Bell Stadium, currently with a scrum on the London Irish 22, now seems as good a time as any to run you through all the team news from Kingsolm...

  14. 'We're ashamed of our performance'published at 14:43

    Northampton 11-24 Wasps

Sometimes I just wish Northampton Saints captain Tom Wood would tell us what he really thought.

The reason for his disappointment this morning? An emphatic 24-11 home defeat by an inspired Wasps last night.

  16. try

Try (Mujati, missed con Cipriani)published at 14:37

    Sale 5-3 London Irish

But London Irish's lead is short lived, as Brian Mujati sneaks over after some sustained Sale pressure to put the hosts ahead.

Danny Cipriani's conversion, however, catches a rather sizeable gust of wind and drifts miles wide of the posts.

  17. Penalty (Geraghty)published at 14:35

    Sale 0-3 London Irish

And it's the boot of Shane Geraghty that registers the first points of the match, landing a penalty from in front of the posts after the Exiles won a penalty at the breakdown.

  18. Kick-offpublished at 14:32

    Sale 0-0 London Irish

Right then, game number one of the afternoon is under way up in Manchester, where it's just started to drizzle down with rain.

London Irish get us up and running via the boot of fly-half Shane Geraghty.
