Every time Tim Visser has played for Harlequins he's looked electric in attack. He's scored a try from nowhere. Ben Foden may well as not been there."

And just like that, Quins strike....

Tim Visser the man with the lightning speed and tricky toes to evade three Northampton tacklers and then Ben Foden with the side-step.

Glorious running. Botica makes it three from three with his boot to give the visitors the lead again.

Last 10 minutes of the first-half at Franklin's Gardens.

No way through to the try line so far for Harlequins, but they're still very much in touch.

    Newcastle 10-15 Wasps

And that try and conversion marks half-time at Kingston Park.

It's been a mixed bag. Wasps started poorly but then took control.

However, they allowed Newcastle to hit back at the end of the half.

Try (Vea, con Delany)published at 15:50 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Newcastle 10-15 Wasps

Newcastle finish the half strongly, launching a late assault on the Wasps line as the clock ticks over 40 minutes.

First Nili Latu is held up over the try line and then, after several phases from the resulting scrum, Taione Vea crashes over.

The try came from sustained ruck pressure and Mike Delany converts.

  6. try

Try (Lawes, con Myler)published at 15:45 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Northampton 12-6 Harlequins

He was a late addition to the home side's starting XV, but he's certainly made an impression on his return from international duty.

Courtney Lawes dives over for Northampton's second try to put them back in front. Big driving maul and then Lee Dickson finds Lawes in support at the breakdown.

Myler squeezes the conversion through in off the right post.

    Newcastle 3-15 Wasps

Newcastle thought they had hit back immediately after being under the cosh for the last few minutes.

Marcus Watson steps inside, beats two men and races to the line from about 22 metres out.

But referee JP Doyle calls the game back for an infringement.

The fans at Kingston Park have not taken that well and are booing.

  11. try

Try (Robson, missed con Gopperth)published at 15:34 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Newcastle 3-15 Wasps

A typical scrum-half's opportunistic try from Dan Robson, picking up, dummying and touching down.

Christian Wade's pace set up a break and Robson did the rest from the breakdown.

The wind gets hold of Jimmy Gopperth's kick and stops him from adding the conversion.

  12. try

Try (Waller, missed con Myler)published at 15:33 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Northampton 5-3 Harlequins

Nice work from Northampton as they recover from Myler's missed kick.

From left to right along the Quins' five-metre line it goes and then prop Alex Waller runs on to Courtney Lawes' offload for an easy stretch over in the right corner.

Myler off-target again though from the tee.

  13. Missed penalty (Myler)published at 15:32 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Northampton 0-3 Harlequins

Hmm, unexpected missed kick at goal from Stephen Myler for Northampton.

Right-footed attempt swirls right and away from the posts.

Wasps hit the front thanks to a good passing move - and the score has been coming in the last few minutes.

George Smith cuts inside from the right, showing his experience and nous, to nip in and score the game's first try.

Wasps have grown into this game following a shaky start.

Just under 10 minutes to the break.

Wasps fly-half Jimmy Gopperth turns down a kick at goal from just outside the 22, instead kicking to the corner.

However it doesn't come off as they make a mess of the line-out.

Moments ago Wasps came within five metres of the Newcastle line but another infringement allowed the hosts to clear the danger.

  19. Kick-offpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Northampton 0-0 Harlequins

Off and running at Franklin's Gardens following a slightly delayed start due to that game up in Manchester over-running.

  20. Penalty (Delany)published at 15:19 British Summer Time 27 March 2016

    Newcastle 3-0 Wasps

Mike Delany puts Newcastle into the lead on his return from injury.

He's successful with his attempt from just outside the 22, eight metres in from the touchline.

The Falcons deserve the lead for their early dominance in possession and territory.
