Brown unable to take a high one from Phipps and it ends up being a penalty to Australia, Robshaw off his feet. Foley kicks to touch...

Chris Brown: Joubert and Owens both superb refs, but that penalty is a terrible decision. Let the game flow for heavens sake.

Francis Edwards: Even when Nigel Owens isn't the referee, he is still the referee.

Weird. Joubert sent it upstairs because Owens thought Farrell blocked Foley, but having seen it himself, Joubert decides Foley cut across Farrell and awards England a penalty. And over it goes. Michael Cheika is ruddy, bloody furious up in the Aussie box.

“It’s difficult for Australian Rugby to be accountable for the pitch. A month or two ago Australia rugby came here and said the pitch needs to be replaced and put in initiatives to make sure it didn’t happen. Unfortunately it has. The weather hasn’t helped. What’s the other option? Go to Perth or somewhere else? The Melbourne rebels play here consistently. All I can say is the governing bodies have tried to get on it.”
