  1. Wales record v Australia a 'mental issue'published at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

It has been a mental issue. Wales have put themselves in so many good situations and haven't got over the line. They have switched off in crucial times and they also need to be more creative.

That is the big thing today.

Wales will wear an embroidered jersey today in memory of the 50th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster.

The squad requested the jerseys carry the details of the disaster after visiting the memorial gardens and cemetery in the village.

Black armbands will also be worn in memory of Alun Wyn Jones' father Tim, who died this week.

  5. Late Wales changepublished at 13:54 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Wales have been forced to make a late change with centre Jonathan Davies suffering a tight hamstring. His place is taken by his Scarlets team-mate Scott Williams, who was not originally in the match day squad.

With Sam Warburton, Alun Wun Jones and Taulupe Faletau already missing, it means coach Rob Howley has lost four British and Irish Lions from his starting XV.

Wales' desperate efforts to breach a furious 13-man Australia defence in the wake of Will Genia and Dean Mumm's yellow cards in the teams' World Cup group meeting back in October 2015 was the sort of rugby to glue you to your seat and drop your jaw.

Warren Gatland could not admire it though. His Wales side failed to punish the Aussie indiscipline and came away clutching the ugly end of a 15-6 scoreline.

It was Wales' 11th straight loss to the Wallabies and another tale of so near yet so far.

The most visceral, raw, enthralling and downright entertaining seven minutes of international rugby in 2015 did not feature any tries.

It didn't, in fact, feature a single point.

And there were only a few metres made by either team.
