At the moment Wales are at sixes and sevens. It is brilliant ball movement. Australia will be disappointed they haven't put more points on the board.

    Wales 3-8 Australia

Wales have been under the pump since the first whistle. Considering the way the All Blacks have dominated the Rugby Championships, it has been a sobering opening 20 minutes for Lions optimists as well as Wales fans.

The creativity there was absolutely brilliant. That was such a walk-in for the winger.

    Wales 3-8 Australia

    Ohh!

It should be Australia's second try and a routine conversion to come, but somehow Dane Haylett-Petty contrives to juggle, fumble and knock on after Bernard Foley's carving line and Tevita Kuridrani's decoy run opened up a clear path to the line.

    A let-off for Wales.

One of the thing that is always an issue for the home teams in the autumn internationals is that haven't had the preparation camp.

Wales have to keep Australia out.

They have to stop Australia getting a lead that is insurmountable.

    I don't think I have seen as one-sided a first 15 minutes for a long, long time.

    Wales are holding on.

BBC Sport Wales at the Principality Stadium

The Principality Stadium is a long way from full, and the atmosphere is subdued as Australia dominate possession.

If the first priority for the visitors was to silence the crowd it's mission accomplished.

Leigh Halfpenny wallops a kick down the line and up towards the Wales 10m line after Rhys Webb sees his attempt charged down by the lumbering Rory Arnold.

    Wales 3-8 Australia

Wales are pinned back on their own line, but manage to bring an Aussie rolling maul to a standstill and keep it off the floor.

Scrum down red. And Ross Moriarty - who has been very impressive so far - picks up, goes and makes yards.

That is a yellow card without a shadow of a doubt. Biggar knows the consequences and has to do it.

    It is the right decision.

Craig Joubert is under the spotlight.

Dane Haylett-Petty has been tugged back by Dan Biggar as he looks to link up with Israel Folau with the corner beckoning.

The possibilithy of the penalty try came up in the ref's chat with his video official but George North's cover saved Wales from that fate.

A yellow card for Biggar though and Wales are down to 14.

Any thoughts that this is a poor Australia side have been put to bed. They have had brilliant width on the ball from rucks and mauls. They are beautiful when they play like this.

Very clinical. The maul was properly set up and Australia didn't start the drive until it was set up.

Given the territory and possession that is nothing more than Australia deserve.

Textbook from Australia. Stephen Moore picks his man out in the centre of the line-out, whips round to form the fulcrum of the driving maul and his team-mates, tight, low and strong, shove him infield and over.

Australia are banging on the door once more.

Tevita Kuridrani makes big yards - all pumping thighs and thrusting hand-off.

Ross Moriarty stems the momentum with a thumping tackle on Scott Sio.

But the Aussies have a penalty five metres out.

Kick, run or corner? The latter...
