If you asked Eddie Jones what he thought then he may say that it was the perfect follow on episode to yesterday's Eastenders-esque action at Twickenham Stadium!

We'll be back on Friday with all of the live coverage from Round 10 and it starts with Sale Sharks hosting Exeter Chiefs at the AJ Bell Stadium. It's not to be missed but until then have a great week!

    • Saracens 24-20 Gloucester
    • Wasps 34-24 Sale
    • Harlequins 21-20 Bath

Saracens were pushed all the way by a Gloucester side that actually led 17-15 at the break while Wasps' victory over Sale was slightly easier. As we've just seen it went down to the wire at The Twickenham Stoop with little to choose between Harlequins and Bath on the scoreboard.

    FT: Harlequins 21-20 Bath

After coming on early in the match for Nick Evans, Harlequins fly-half Tim Swiel had a big influence on the outcome and he spoke to BT Sport after the match about his relief at closing out a tight encounter:

"We’ve been so successful at home and the home crowd came out and the boys came through.

"I did a little reckless kick away there but luckily we stuck at it and got the win in the end.

"Obviously we have won all of our games at home this year but we’ve got to change that inconsistency away from home."

Bath's Ben Tapuai has been threatening all day long and he makes a break through the middle of some tired defenders. He can't quite get the clean offload away but it's highly promising from the centre.

    Phew!!

This game is starting to open up a little bit, first Semesa Rokoduguni spots the space in the middle and goes full tilt at it with a clever chip and collect but he just knocks on.

Since he has come on Tim Swiel has really been making Harlequins' attack click but he's one step ahead of Will Collier who can't hold onto the pop pass. This time it's Harlequins who miss out on a key opportunity and Bath set up the scrummage.

Harlequins have been dominating the possession with Bath on the back foot but it's dogged defence from Bath and Guy Mercer makes a fantastic turnover at the ruck.

However Dan Bowden's kick into touch doesn't have as much distance as they'd like and then Darren Allinson kicks out on the full. Opportunity lost.
