Harlequins' handling is looking really sharp in this opening quarter and they gain another penalty as Bath are pinged for playing the nine. 

Tim Swiel is on the field for Nick Evans - an initial blood replacement that is now permanent - but he misses his first attempt at goal after 24 minutes.

Bath's forward pack gain a penalty from the scrum and full-back Tom Homer steps up to start their account for the afternoon. 

At the end of the opening quarter there's just two points separating these two sides. 

We all wondered how Semesa Rokoduguni would bounce back and he's just showed exactly what he's made of with an almost length of the field break. 

Rokoduguni spotted a gap in the middle of the field and turned on the pace. He stayed on his feet but Bath couldn't quite finish it. 

Bath can't make the most of their ball and constantly fly-half Dan Bowden is being put under a huge amount of pressure in this opening 15 minutes. 

Conversely Harlequins are looking dangerous in and Bath are having to put in big hits in left, right and centre.

Wasps get proceedings under way in the second half after dominating the first 40 minutes. 

Ten minutes gone and Harlequins are looking sprightly while Bath are a little off the pace. 

A penalty against the hosts gives Bath their first attacking position to work from and the ball goes to the tail of their lineout. 

Bath have their first real bit of possession it's a great loop around from Ben Tapuai back to Dan Bowden but Tom Homer fumbles the next ball. Harlequins have the scrum and gain a free kick with five minutes on the clock. 

Bath's Dan Bowden gets us under way at the Twickenham Stoop and his kick-off finds the hands of Marland Yarde. 

The half-time whistle goes at the Ricoh Arena and what a dominant half it's been for the hosts.

Danny Cipriani dotted down against his former side before Wasps forward Ashley Johnson added two more.

George Merrick and James Chisholm are named in the forward pack. 

Australian centre Ben Tapuai makes his first start for Bath and winger Semesa Rokoduguni, who scored two tries for England against Fiji, returns. 

Fly-half Dan Bowden, hooker Tom Dunn, lock Dave Attwood and number eight Zach Mercer are all given starts.

Good news Wasps fans - Christian Wade is back onto the field after a head injury assessment.

Just over 10 minutes left until half-time.

Saracens' forwards take control with a final counter ruck and the hosts get the ball off the field sharpish! It hasn't been a vintage performance from Mark McCall's side but it's a victory nonetheless.

There's 30 seconds left on the clock as the forwards set up what could be the final scrummage of the afternoon. It's Gloucester's put in and they gain clean ball throwing everything to try and clinch more than a losing bonus point from the match. 

Against the breeze James Hook can't secure the points as his kick goes wide and Saracens restart the match with just under two minutes to play. 

There's a series of reset scrums before Gloucester gain the penalty. Billy Twelvetrees is on the field and now captain and he signals straight to the posts. Time is ticking down and James Hook is kicking into the field from about 40m out.
