The England international, who is an absolute metronome with the boot, makes no mistake.

There are eight minutes to the break.

Northampton Saints have their first real opportunity and it comes from the man making his 300th appearance for the club Stephen Myler.

Myler chips into space and forces James Hook to take the ball into touch. The visitors' pack know that this is a prime platform for them 5m out after 19 minutes.

Owen Williams may have put Leicester ahead, but unfortunately it's another injury for Manu Tuilagi that is the major talking point in the early stages here.

Tuilagi made a strong carry, but stayed down straight afterwards and had to be helped off by the Tigers' physios with a right knee problem.

It's yet another blow for a player who has been beset by injury for years, and only yesterday was named in Eddie Jones' latest England training squad.

It's a cold and grey afternoon at Welford Road but a sell-out crowd as Tom Youngs leads out the Tigers.

England head coach Eddie Jones is in the stands for this one.
