    Knock-on from England.

France will have a final roll of the dice.

The clock is stopped at 78:44 as the water boys trot on in a break of play.

Play will restart with a France scrum-down on their own ten-metre line.

Maro Itoje claims the line-out ball clean off the top.

A bit of a rumble, a few more second down the drain.

    England are almost there...

Nothing daft. Once England have control of the ball the clock is theirs, France have to do something ridiculous to get it back.

Ralph Brooker: Don't know why we always start slowly. Is it to do with Magna Carta?

Harry Dickens: Seems strange that everyone wrote off France this year; could be the most open Six Nations in ages.

Jon Sleightholme: Bench making a big impact which is exactly what you want to see

Eddie Jones's replacements and tactical tweaks bearing rich fruit for England. The muscle and zip that was missing for the first 60 minutes are finally there, and Twickenham has found its voice.

Jamie George and Matt Mullan show a bit of front-row gas, but that has even caught their team-mates by surprise.

Short of support, they give away the scrum.

France have a long way to go though. They are back on their own five-metre line.

England's line-out looks so much better with the changes and Maro Itoje back in the second row.

They can easily run a couple of minutes off the match, but France are going to have to chance their arm to get the ball back and are more likely to infringe.

England are the first of the four sides to reach 30 kicks in play today. Tactical prowess.

Noa Nakaitaci beats Jack Nowell with a sway of hips, but the France winger's attempt to offload to team-mate Virimi Vakatawa is over-ambitious.

Not enough room and still enough time left on the clock to go to ground and rebuild.

And England are rewarded - they didn't panic when the ball didn't come back as quickly a they wanted. They kept their lines, kept disciplined.

Brilliant tactical changes from England, Elliot Daly to outside centre, Ben Te'o bringing that thump off the bench at 12.

We said if they can play right for two minutes they are going to score. Haskell and Te'o have brought the go forward and that is exactly what Eddie Jones would have wanted.

    England's changes immediately bear fruit.

Danny Care is whipping the ball away from the breakdown with speed. He makes a half-break.

James Haskell follows up with a trademark charge and then Ben Te'o slices through from 10 metres out.

Now is the time you want your midfield generals to stand up.

George Ford has to stand up and get control of this game. There is an easy out for England to put pressure on France every time.
