Luke:  Irish, like everyone, raising their game against England. England playing awful as usual. No doubt an England win!

Chris Harvey:  This would be a better competition if five of the sides always performed to their maximum, not just against England.

    HT: Ireland 10-3 England

England have shown a clinical points-scoring edge, steely focus and supreme fitness when it seemed they might finally be pinned to the backboard during this hot streak.

They will need all of that today.

Ireland have some 'finishers' of their own on the bench as well in Cian Healy, Devin Toner and Paddy Jackson.

A lot to come down to how shrewdly messrs Schmidt and Jones fire those shots.

Ireland's half in almost every facet, dominating possession and territory, roughing England up, forcing basic errors - an over-thrown line-out, ball kicked out on the full, careless knock-ons. The best news of the first 40 minutes for Eddie Jones is that the deficit is only seven.

The pressure is building and building.

Whatever is said at half-time you can just imagine the Irish coaching staff are going to say 'this is what you are doing to England, you are rattling this side, whatever you are doing it is working'.

    Saved by the bell.

Rory Best's line-out dart 20m from his own line is not straight.

It would be a scrum England. But the clock is nine seconds into the red.

The referee sends the teams back to the dressing rooms instead.

A bit of skulduggery from Peter O'Mahony as the Ireland flanker slyly drags James Haskell into a breakdown from the fringes.

The referee is not impressed. Penalty to England and a chance to relieve the pressure.

Dave Fassam:  Easily the best 35 mins of rugby Ireland have played this year. Always raise their game against England.

Henry Ellison:  Lawes and Itoje are everywhere. But then they have had to be #defence

These two sides are scrapping over every moment like they haven't eaten meat in a week.

Ireland get the drop on England at the scrum, sending Joe Marler and Dan Cole up through the ceiling.

Scrappy ball for Ben Youngs and Owen Farrell is held up as he charges into a forest of green shirts.

Scrum down Ireland on the England 22m.

England have made almost three times the amount of tackles Ireland have so far in this one, racking up 95 to 38.

England's forwards bail out their fly-half at the set-piece.

Rory Best picks out his front jumper, but England swarm around, jam the gears of the rolling maul and keep the ball off the floor.

    Scrum England.

George Ford's turn to misjudge a kick.

The England fly-half can't afford to kick out on the full from a scrum just outside his own 22m.

    That's exactly what he does.

Ireland with the line-out in the danger zone.

Ireland have got the measure of England at the moment. England haven't got the ball and they can't defend oppressively like they are used to.

    Wrong option from Johnny Sexton.

The Ireland fly-half's bomb into the corner is too strong and Elliot Daly is able to claim the mark under no pressure.

Will Ireland regret not making more of this period of pressure? England have been sluggish starters but sprint finishers under Eddie Jones.

There is only one team playing like they train together during the week, and they are wearing green.

They are doing what Joe Schmidt would dream of.

Ireland now onto the front foot.

Johnny Sexton flings wide, Rory Best gets a gallop on and is hauled down inside the England 22m.

    This is opening up.

Elliot Daly is picked out by a deft chip by Owen Farrell. If he gets free the Ireland defence is toast.

But Ireland's firefighters smother the threat.
