  1. Postpublished at 38 mins

New Zealand 9-6 British and Irish Lions

Anthony Watson comes under pressure with a huge up-and-under from Beauden Barrett.

The wing - who had a concussion test after that illegal charge by Sonny Bill - locks onto the ball superbly though.

    Great take.

  2. Lions not looking comfortablepublished at 09:18 British Summer Time 1 July 2017

New Zealand 9-6 British and Irish Lions

    Chris Jones
BBC 5 live rugby union reporter at Westpac stadium, Wellington

Lions have to be careful here. A man advantage is no guarantee whatsoever of victory.

Already since the red their discipline has lapsed, and Jerome Garces is on the ball tonight.

  3. PENALTYpublished at 37 mins

New Zealand 9-6 British and Irish Lions

Beauden Barrett slots nervelessly and the All Blacks - a man down after Sonny Bill Williams red - are keeping their heads above the water line.

  4. Postpublished at 35 mins

New Zealand 6-6 British and Irish Lions

The Lions get sloppy as Conor Murray's box-kick flies out on the full and then Mako Vunipola drops a knee as he attempts to rip the ball on the floor.

Another All Black penalty and this should be meat and drink for Beauden Barrett....

  5. PENALTYpublished at 33 mins

Owen Farrell clips it over the sticks to level things up.

  6. Postpublished at 32 mins

New Zealand 6-3 British and Irish Lions

Liam Williams disrupts Israel Dagg's attempt to claim the kick-off, Maro Itoje pounces on the loose ball and is driven up to the New Zealand 22m line by his team-mates.

The All Blacks fail to roll away.

And it is a gimme of a penalty for the hosts just in front.

  7. PENALTYpublished at 31 mins

New Zealand 6-3 British and Irish Lions

Over it goes and the All Blacks are a man down, but three points up.

    Ugo Monye
    Former Lions and England winger

Was there foul play? YES. Was it deliberate YES. Any mitigating circumstances? No. Red card all day

  9. Postpublished at 30 mins

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

Both sides are trying to find their feet after the seismic red card for Sonny Bill Williams.

The Lions get a rumble on with Sam Warburton, off-loading to Sean O'Brien.

But Jack Nowell has gone into the side of the ruck to hand a penalty shot to Beauden Barrett,

A tricky angle, but you would back him to land it...

  10. Harsh call?published at 09:10 British Summer Time 1 July 2017

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

    Chris Jones
BBC 5 live rugby union reporter at Westpac stadium, Wellington

Sitting with a number of Kiwi journalists who feel the call was harsh.

But if rugby is going to take player welfare seriously then a red card is the right decision - especially with Watson taken out of the game.

Williams is the first All Black to be sent off since 1967.

Jerome Kaino comes off to be replaced by Ngani Laumape, so the hosts have a full complement of backs.

  11. Praise for captain Warburtonpublished at 09:09 British Summer Time 1 July 2017

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

    Ross Harries
Scrum V presenter at Westpac stadium, Wellington

Warburton’s gone about his business in his usual, unfussy authoritative way.

He has made his presence felt with some powerful, dominant tackles, offered himself as a carrier and lineout option, and contributed to a much more aggressive showing from the Lions pack.

The weather is an obvious factor, but the All Blacks are enjoying nowhere near the amount of time and space they did last week.

  12. Substitutionpublished at 26 mins

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

The All Blacks - down to 14 after Sonny Bill Williams' red card for a shoulder charge into the head of Anthony Watson - bring on Ngani Laumape, a hard-hitting midfielder, and go a man down in the pack with Jerome Kaino coming off.

Andrew Priestley: New Zealand have played 420, yes - FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY games of rugby since one of their players received a red card. HUGE!

Stewart Milligan: Correct call there, terrible tackle from SBW, he'll no longer be attacking 10-12 channel, lions need to capitalise

John Cambell: huge opportunity Lions. how professionally to use the 1 man advantage?

  16. 'Brave decision'published at 09:06 British Summer Time 1 July 2017

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

    Chris Jones
BBC 5 live rugby union reporter at Westpac stadium, Wellington

That is an extraordinarily brave decision from the referee.

To send off an All Blacks player at home takes a serious amount of courage.

Rugby discipline is outcome-based, and Jerome Garces has seen a shoulder to the head - leaving him with no option.

Paul Mulligan: Thats red for me. Horrific shot

Chris Adams: Dangerous & dirty from SBW but not sure it warranted a red.

Morgs: About time these fouls were called up

New Zealand 3-3 British and Irish Lions

    HE'S GONE!

Jerome Garces doesn't bottle the decision. He makes the right call and dispatches Sonny Bill Williams to the stands.

A massive moment in this match and possibly series.
