Abdelatif Benazzi, Olivier Merle, Christian Califano, Thierry Lacroix, Philippe Saint-Andre, Emile Ntamack.

All part of the last team to win a match at Eden Park against the All Blacks.

You'd be forgiven if the occasion does not immediately spring to mind though.

It was way back on 3 July 1994 when a typically silk-and-steel France team sealed a 2-0 series win over the All Blacks.

For reference, Maro Itoje was still in utero rather than the second row.

Since then New Zealand have played 38, won 37 and drawn one at their Auckland headquarters.

Boo, Kingston: This has got 18-13 Lions win written ALL OVER IT.

Owen, Tadworth: ABs 15 - Lions 21; Farrell to kick all points, Read sin binner before the end.

Andrew, Lisburn: The Lions pack looks very, very strong and will match the All Blacks for power and even shade them at the breakdown. But the Lions backline has been setup to attack the All Blacks instead of defending against them. Fighting fire with fire. Surely that is the wrong tactic from Gatland? Surely the Lions aren't going to win a high-scoring game against the world's very best

  6. Remember 2005?published at 07:50 British Summer Time 24 June 2017

New Zealand v British and Irish Lions (08:35 BST)

New Zealand legend Dan Carter and former All Blacks skipper Sean Fitzpatrick are two of the home crowd getting excited for today's first Test against the Lions.

Carter was part of the Kiwi side that whitewashed the tourists in 2005.

Can the class of 2017 wipe that one out the memory banks?

The walk from Kingsland station to Eden Park is a hive of activity with Lions fans out in force.

Strains of 'Bread of Heaven' emanate from one pub; 'Fields of Athenry' from another.

But one huge All Blacks flag serves as a reminder that for all their support, the Lions are on enemy territory.

Forget World Cup finals. Keep your Olympic 100m finals. File the Ashes under 'meh'.

The Lions - each time a unique snapshot of the best of Britain and Ireland - comes around every four years.

A tour to New Zealand - where the game grips like nowhere else - comes round only every 12 years.

That spine-tingling first Test haka, only once in the six-week trip.

    Today is that day.

Stand by your sofas, kick-off is an hour away.
