England won't be too worried about giving penalties away from around the 40m mark from here on.

Jonny May is again on the skinny side of a tight decision, called for a very marginal knock-on.

England called for pre-engage at the scrum.

England's penalty count is creeping north like the mercury in a sauna thermometer.

Australia opt to kick to the corner...

I think we've seen a Georgian side pumped up and maybe slightly forgetting what they're here to do - to play the good rugby they are capable of.

Wales have dominated the passing, the running of the ball game and Georgia have a bit part.

It really is a statement of a difference in class and Wales just need to smarten up a little bit and the space will come.

Stoney: May unfairly penalised. Wallaby player held him in the ruck. He couldn’t roll away.

    England 3-0 Australia

    Paul Grayson
Former Lions and England fly-half on Radio 5 live

There was a lot of talk in the week about how fast Jonny May is. We've just seen him carry the ball for 70m at top speed. He was flying.

  6. Missed penaltypublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    ..and misses!

A nasty shank keeps England in front.

  7. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    England 3-0 Australia

Jonny May pinged for holding on as Sean McMahon cannily spins him in the tackle, stays on his feet and limpets onto the Leicester man.

This is a penalty pretty much bang in front, 40m to cover.

    Bernard Foley takes aim...

Maro Itoje makes his first impression off the bench, racing out of the defensive line to smother Kurtley Beale.

It was a gamble. But it came up cherries.

Jonny May on the kick-chase as Ben Youngs hacks a loose ball downfield. He is quick, but not quite quick enough.

Australia scramble back and tidy up.

But for a great cover tackle, and two close refereeing calls Wales could be out of sight.

Referee Mathieu Raynal was right on Hallam Amos' disallowed try, but probably wrong to deny Rhys Priestland earlier.

Georgia are resilient and dominant in the scrum, and Wales are chasing tries having turned down three kickable penalties.

A seven point lead at the interval means Georgia will be the happier team and nervous murmur ripples around the ground as the players trot off.

A huge roar around Twickenham because Maro Itoje enters the fray.

  11. HIA replacementpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    England 3-0 Australia

England flanker Sam Underhill is off for a head assessment after getting a knock in the tackle.

Who's on in his place? Not Exeter flyer Sam Simmonds. Instead Maro Itoje is dusted off to loud cheers.

He is in the second row. Courtney Lawes slots into the back row.

Reece Hodge is a good player. I like him for Australia. He gets off his wing and goes looking for work.

    England 3-0 Australia

A loose offload from Australia is pouched by Chris Robshaw just inside the green and gold half.

That is the premium you pay for big-money rugby like that.

England are more conservative, George Ford stabs a low grubbing kick into the corner.

Australia clear and Nathan Hughes knocks on as he gets his horns down and stampedes forward, but Michael Hooper slips his arm in to dislodge the ball.

  15. Half-timepublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Wales 10-3 Georgia

Wales seem to be lacking a bit of leadership out there. A clear penalty from a deliberate knock-on, but all 15 players are still deciding what to do with it.

Eventually Rhys Priestland kicks to touch, but it's dropped from the line-out.

A scrappy end to the half.

    Wales 10-3 Georgia

A brilliant steal from Georgia fly-half Lasha Khmaladze as Wales encroach on the try-line, but he gets over-excited and knocks the ball forward in the process.

For all Wales' possession, this has not been convincing so far. Georgia will be very pleased if they keep the hosts out before the break.

    Two minutes until half time.

  17. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    England 3-0 Australia

Courtney Lawes gets in a trademark rib-tickler of a tackle, thumping a Wallaby like a set of 4x4 bull bars.

But the Aussies are not being dissuaded from running the ball.

Marika Koroibete gets a first chance to stretch his legs with a boulder-like rumble.

Finally he is subdued. But this is open stuff.

    Jouez!

England have got Jonny May swapping to receive a kick-off going out to the left wing. Presumably they think he's got better aerial skills. It's interesting. He's going to get through some work, a 70m interchange each time there's a stop in play.

  20. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Pull yourselves up a chair. The two front rows and referee Ben O'Keeffe are having a right old natter over the set-piece.

We have not come here for this. Get on with it. Finally they have.
