Alex: Good stuff from Georgia, playing to their strengths.

Mike Green I like rugby but can't get into these meaningless autumn internationals. Why not have proper World Cup qualifying, like in football?

T.P. Smith: When will we get advocates of the modern game/rule changes instead of having one commentator after another whinging that it isn't like it used to be.

England coach Eddie Jones was told off by his mum last week after TV cameras picked him up swearing during England's 21-8 win over Argentina.

Jones has told BBC 5 live he's already had a warning from her ahead of this afternoon's match against Australia.

"She gave me a phonecall this morning to say she's watching. She said don't swear. I promised not too so I'll be on my best behaviour," he said.

    Wales 3-0 Georgia

Not a lot to write home about in the past few minutes.

Georgia have a rare foray into the Welsh half, but it comes to nothing, before full-back Soso Matiashvili makes a big error as he kicks the ball out on the full inside his own 22.

Wales have it 15 metres out but this is a good defensive effort so far from the tier-two nation.

It's fair to say Australian legend David Campese isn't a fan of how Eddie Jones has England playing.

"You tell me - have you really advanced that much where the game has changed or is it really a defensive game, wait for the mistakes and throw a few players in there to try and create a few opportunities?," Campese told BBC 5 live.

    Never change Campo.

You want a strong headline? Not too bothered about how you bandy around statistics?

England's Jonny May clocked a top speed of the 10.49 metres per second in a 40m sprint in training this week.

This made him faster than Usain Bolt according to some, as it topped the Jamaican's average speed on his way to his 9.58 second world record.

Obviously Usain Bolt's top speed, once you factor in his start and the fact he is covering 2.5 times the distance, would leave the Leicester wing for dust.

    But May is rapid squared.

Andrew Priestley: Wales' Toulon-bound scrum-half Rhys Webb showing within the first 3 minutes of today’s match why the new Welsh selection policy rules are very foolish indeed. The best players should be selected for their national side, regardless of where they play their club rugby.

Billy Vunipola would be strapping up in the bowels of Twickenham today, but for a knee injury. Instead he is pressing the flesh in the corporate boxes and writing a rather good column for the Times, external.

He has been singing the praises of his England and Saracens team-mates Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje today.

On Farrell: "Owen loves rugby more than anyone else I know. He talks about rugby 24/7. In the game, you can hear him giving his love for the team on the ref-mike, always cajoling, really loud, in his high-pitched voice."

On Itoje: "Despite what people think, there are actually things that he’s genuinely not good at. He’s actually terrible at football, I mean, really awful. And he’s not the best dancer either; I reckon I’ve got him at dancing."

On the spirit in the England camp: "The thing about love - it’s something that happens naturally, like being in a relationship - you either find it or you don’t. I promise you, with England, we’ve found something special."

Given the self-serving hypocrisy of the tier one rugby unions who ignored the technical recommendations that said South Africa should host the 2023 RWC and picked France for the money they would get from a French World Cup instead, as well as the terrible ongoing treatment of the other tier two rugby nations in terms of stealing players and no sharing of the wealth - a victory for Georgia today over Wales would be a welcome fight back for the underdogs.

    Gareth, Watford.

The team behind the South African bid said they were "bitterly disappointed" with the decision...

It's clear from the first few minutes that Wales intend to keep the ball in play and run Georgia ragged. Fitness levels will be key today.

    Wales 3-0 Georgia

The TMO has been a busy man so far this afternoon in Cardiff.

Another break in play as the man upstairs thinks he's seen some foul play from Adam Beard at the breakdown.

And it's a shoulder charge, 'without violence', apparently. A penalty to Georgia.

    Slightly soft, perhaps.

    Nope.

Georgia scrum-half Vasil Lobzhanidze gets underneath Alex Cuthbert and puts in a tremendous, try-saving tackle. No chance for Cuthbert to ground the ball.

But the danger isn't over yet. Wales have a five-metre scrum.

Priestland has brought his kicking boots.

A confident start from the tee and he's just sent a humongous kick to get Wales into the Georgia 22.

From the line-out, the ball finds Alex Cuthbert who thinks he's over.

Is it a try, yes or no?

    Where does Seb Davies play?

The 21-year-old is a former centre, plays at lock for Cardiff Blues, but he has made a fine start at number eight this afternoon.

He shows a turn of pace on the right wing, before Georgia concede the penalty for not releasing.

Rhys Priestland will have his first pop at goal...

  16. Jones v Cheika adds to the gamepublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Two sport-obsessed nations, their biggest rivalry is with each other.

We'll see Michael Cheika against Eddie Jones today - having two Australians in charge of the teams has only ramped it up.

England fans are hugely grateful to Eddie Jones for the renaissance under him. Equally, Michael Cheika took over the Wallabies a year out from the World Cup and he got them to the World Cup final.

It is instructive to ask who is doing a better job at the moment?

You don't have to wait for the Ashes or PyeongChang 2018 for some top-level sledging.

Not when Eddie Jones and Michael Cheika have a game to play.

The two former Randwick team-mates have been pulling levers and twisting screws all week.

Cheika claimed England would employ bully tactics, including late hits on the half-backs.

Jones accused Cheika of "playing games" to try and influence the referee.

And Stephen Larkham - who reached the World Cup final with Eddie Jones as a player, but is now Cheika's Wallabies assistant - had his two pence-worth, claiming Jones is "a little bit spoilt" by the resources available to him.

    Now, now.

A brilliant break from Rhys Webb who taps and goes from the penalty.

He spots a forward in the defensive line and darts through a gap. Wales recycle through Seb Davies, whose drive lands just inches from the try-line.

The ball eventually goes forward but that's clear intent from Warren Gatland's side, they are going to run this ball all afternoon.

Wales with all the early possession and they're making ground towards the Georgian 22.

Good hands so far across the line as Rhys Priestland chips a kick over the defence but full-back Soso Matiashvili sweeps up.

Georgia reluctant to kick it dead, a high tempo game so far.
