    Scotland 10-0 Australia

Byron McGuigan is owning this left wing. He's using it as his own personal race track.

But this time the intimidating Marick Koroibete decides to get in his way and stops another attacking threat from the Scots.

  5. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Scotland 10-0 Australia

Australia desperately try and get into their opposition's half but Scotland are having none of it.

Australia full-back Kurtley Beale, doing his best Terry Butcher impression after the earlier head injury, messes up a catch from a cross-field kick and the Scots take a short line-out on the halfway line.

And while it's all go, go, go at Murrayfield, the teams emerge onto the field at Twickenham for the national anthems.

Eddie Jones has made nine changes to his England side, with captain Dylan Hartley on the bench to make way for Jamie George at hooker.

But can England put in a convincing performance against Samoa?

    Let's find out.

  7. Postpublished at 21 mins

John Fell: GO ON BARRY LAD!!!!

Sporty Milo: As a Welshman it's wonderful to see Scotland playing with attacking flair and a dogged defence. They are going to cause problems playing like this in the Six Nations. It's great to see, well done

SaidMadrid: Vern cotter put the foundations of this scottish team;he made him believe they were good and now they do know they are good enough to compete at the highest level.

  9. Try reviewpublished at 19 mins

    Scotland 10-0 Australia

    McGuigan's at it again!

A brilliant counter attack from a loose Australia ball (again) sees McGuigan dart up the left flank.

Scotland's wing goes into a kick-chase over the line with Will Genia and the TMO confirms that the Wallaby scrum-half got a hand to it first.

Scotland earn a five metre scrum.

  10. McGuigan off the markpublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Scotland 10-0 Australia

    Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One

That is so much harder than it looks. You don't know where the defenders are, you don't know which way the ball is going to bobble, everyone in the crowd expects you to score. McGuigan kept so calm. He took it round Hodge and scored the try.

  11. try

Converted try - Scotland 10-0 Australiapublished at 16 mins

    Byron McGuigan (con Russell)

An early try for the late replacement!

Scotland latch onto a loose ball which falls from the grasp of Australian hands.

Byron McGuigan races on to it and after some fancy footwork to kick it past his opposite number Reece Hodge, the Scotland wing taps down.

    Finn Russell converts.

  13. What Scotland deservepublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Scotland 3-0 Australia

    Andy Robinson
Former England and Scotland head coach on BBC One

There's great variety in how Scotland are playing. Hooper and McMahon are not able to slow them down and the Scottish footwork and offloads are not allowing Australia to get their hands on the ball.

  14. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Australia

It looks like Kurtley Beale is in the wars after colliding with the elbow of Finn Russell in the build-up to that penalty.

The Australian full-back has a bandaged, bloody head but he'll continue.

  15. Penaltypublished at 14 mins

    Scotland 3-0 Australia

Scotland pile foward and are edging closer and closer to the line.

Australia are penalised for offside and Finn Russell lines up an easy close-range kick.

It sails over. Scotland are off the mark!

Eddie Jones tells me that co-captains George Ford and Chris Robshaw will both talk with referee Andrew Brace but Robshaw will take on most of the talking.

Flanker Robshaw hasn’t started at open-side for England since the Rugby World Cup.

  18. McGuigan not fazedpublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2017

    Scotland 0-0 Australia

    Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One

Just the final pass eluded Scotland then. Brilliant attacking play from Scotland. They are playing with great width and McGuigan has started confidently. He's been a real bright spark and Scotland are causing problems for the Australian defence.

  19. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Scotland 0-0 Australia

    Gaaah. Frustrating for Scotland.

A brilliant pick-and-go in the Australia 22 ends up in the hands of flanker Hamish Watson and it's fumbled again, this time by Byron McGuigan.

Stephen Moore's line-out is wonky. The retiring Australia veteran gets some noise from the crowd for that.
