Adam and James Chambers: Can someone tell me quite what the point of the Ireland -Italy game is? It’s not sport because there is no contest involved. Is deliberate humiliation the point because you cannot humiliate an outclassed opponent.
David: I know Italy aren’t great, but you still can’t underestimate the precision and effectiveness of Ireland right now. 4 tries, 4 conversions, bonus point at half time, nothing conceded, barely an error made.
John McEnery: Trying to watch in Barcelona while being choke tackled by my 2 and a half-year-old twin boys. I feel a bit like Italy - I'm having no luck - and they’re like Ireland - relentless & clinical. You’re my saving grace Louise! I may have to use some dirty tricks.
Such kind words John.

Goosebumps time as we walk around Twickenham and hear 'I vow to thee my country' blaring out.
Atmosphere come kick off will be electric
How much do you think the Rugby World Cup 2015 scarf top left is available for? I reckon with a good bit of bartering, you could get paid to take it off their hands.

So we're expecting to see 20-year-old Jordan Larmour then.
I've heard such good things.

It's a fair reflection of the balance of play and Ireland could even have had more today. This gives them an opportunity to empty their replacement bank and unleash some of the young lads around the hour mark.
Ireland 21-0 Italy
The countdown is on.
Ireland 28-0 Italy
I spoke too soon. That's a poor error from Braam Steyn.
The flanker goes up one-handed at the line-out, far too casual, and the ball doesn't stick. I think I could've caught that one.
But that's that. Off we trot for a break.

Ireland 28-0 Italy
A quick shout-out for Braam Steyn's mammoth work-rate on the Italian flank.
He has racked up 11 successful tackles - three more than any other player on his team.

Another richly deserved try. Confidence and competence is flowing through the Irish and Earls sprinted clear from Aki's beautifully-timed pass.
Ireland are producing some great offloads and trying things they wouldn't normally dream of in the Six Nations. That doesn't bode well for Italy.
Keith Earls, con Sexton
Pure acceleration.
Dan Leavy with the hustle at the breakdown and Keith Earls speeds away down the touchline after superb pace and footwork from Bundee Aki to rip through the middle.
Four tries, four conversions. Johnny Sexton is kicking like a dream.
Ireland 21-0 Italy
Referee Romain Poite has halted play here, with Italy's Micola Quaglio down on the turf. It looks to be a problem with his jaw, sustained running into his own teammate's shoulder. Ouch.
Ireland 21-0 Italy
Ireland get close to their fourth try of the afternoon as Robbie Henshaw strikes through the Italy defence like a green grenade, showing the men in blue his heels.
But Italy recover, before captain Sergio Parisse flies off his feet and concedes the penalty.
After a long conversation with Rory Best, Johnny Sexton opts for touch, but the line-out comes to nothing.

Harry Cunningham: At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, should Italy really be here? They've shown no improvement in years. Give Georgia a chance instead.
Martin Bevan: Watching on a train from Bern to Basel! Aiming to get back in time for the England game

A great start by Ireland, who have shown much greater attacking variety and width than in Paris.
I watched them practice the move that led to Henshaw’s try in the pre-match warm-up. They dropped the ball on that occasion too, but the speed of thought by Earls and Stockdale to keep the attack alive was impressive.
Henshaw’s appetite for work is so impressive. Less than a minute after his try, it was his pressure on the Italian centres, forcing the turnover that led to Murray’s score.
Ireland 21-0 Italy
It has been one-way traffic at an autobahn rate so far in Dublin.
Ireland have made 195 metres to Italy's 67 and beaten eight defenders to the visitors' four.
Conor Murray (29m), Robbie Henshaw (28m) and Jacob Stockdale (27m) are vying to be top of individual stats.

Come on then, time for a bit of get involved.
Where are you watching this Ireland game? Or are you getting things ready for the clash at Twickenham later?
Pictures encouraged, and I'm also taking your score predictions. How many tries will Ireland manage?

That came from a very clever kick from Johnny Sexton. Italy conceded control, Ireland rumbled towards the line and then another well-judged pass at the end put Bundee Aki in for the try. A really impressive start.
Bundee Aki, con Sexton
And Bundee Aki's reply to that criticism is to score Ireland's third try.
The big centre puts in a huge carry and he smashes over the line with two blue defenders on his back.
Bish, bash, bosh. This game is done already.

Steve Handicott: This is going to be a cricket score - Without any wickets falling...
Andrew Priestley: Great silky hands from the Irish forwards. Those big lads can do the flashy bits as well as the dirty work!
Sean Foley: What a try from the Irish there. Beautiful hands!
