Andy Nicol
Former Scotland international on BBC One
On the decision to remove Finn Russell and put Greig Laidlaw in at fly half:
"It is a brave call by Gregor Townsend, but Finn has a big temperament and he will bounce back [after disappointment such as last weekend's defeat in Wales].
"The Six Nations is about winning, not about playing with about style or flair, it is about winning rugby games and Scotland did that today."

Sam Warburton
Wales flanker on BBC One
"Scotland were quite direct, they made France tackle and that makes teams tired. You crash at the 60-minute mark and I think the first half took its toll on the French. Penalties win matches, Greig kicked six in a row, and every time they went forward, France gave one away.
"When he went to 10, it was a big turning point. Scotland played with a lot more energy, it lifted the stadium and they closed the game out."

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend speaking on BBC One:
"Happier than last week that's for sure. The effort it takes to win a Test match is huge and doing it from behind shows the character in the squad.
"We were a bit more direct in the second half and we got our reward. France were excellent at the breakdown, at times they did go off their feet and they got penalised.
"Our forwards had such a massive game in the set piece and did so well, but they were still carrying.
On moving Greig Laidlaw to fly-half:
"It was mentioned during the week and we ran a couple of plays this morning. It was really seeing how Greig was and Ali brings so much from the bench. Greig's kicking was important so we kept him on.
"We were much better this week. To get back into the game and to be much more accurate than last week was pleasing."
Scotland 32-26 France
Captain John Barclay speaking to BBC One: "We made it hard on ourselves, we got off to a poor start but at half-time we knew if we held the ball we would cause them trouble. We were a lot more accurate than last week but still not quite there.
"If you lose the first match, and are serious about the competition the maths is simple. We knew we had to put in a performance after last week."

Scotland scrum-half Greig Laidlaw speaking on BBC One:
"Playing in this jersey is unbelievable. It wasn't pretty at times but that's international rugby. I am so so proud of this team. We really dug in at the end and the forward pack in particular.
"It's felt like a long time coming back from injury and I'm not a very good watcher, so it's great to get back on this field, in this jersey and in front of this crowd."

Andy Nicol
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"There’s a lot to work on but that was so important for the development of that team after what was said last week [when they were thumped by Wales] about them."
FT: Scotland 32-26 France
All the glamour in the first half, all the penalties in the second.
France shot themselves in the foot but it was well marshalled by Scotland, who avenge last weekend's humiliating defeat in Cardiff.
A third win over France since the start of the Six Nations back in 2000.
Scotland 32-26 France
Scotland are appealing and it's a penalty for not releasing.
The clock goes red, Stuart Hogg taps the ball and blasts it into the stands.
Scotland win!
Scotland 32-26 France
But Scotland have the scrum! A huge moment as the Scottish pack stop the French drive.
There's plenty of beats to the chest down there on the turf. The home side think they've won it...
Scotland 32-26 France
John Lacey calls advantage again, but this time it's for France.
An identical penalty to Yacouba Camara's down the other end, but this time Scotland fail to roll away.
France punt the ball into the corner, collect the line-out safely through Louis Picamoles...
Scotland 32-France 26
Paul O'Connell
Former Ireland captain on BBC One
"It’s been a nervous second half from both teams, but Scotland have dealt with it better and they know France will present them with opportunities."
Greig Laidlaw
Greig Laidlaw was not missing that. Scotland are six points clear.

Jason Cole: France in the last 10 minutes have decided to go all Harlem Globetrotters
Nick Hughes: This is more like the France we all know and love.
Stanley Miller: It's there for the winning Scotland.
Scotland 29-26 France
Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"They’re keeping it close, out of the wide channels and it’s a mature end to the game from Scotland."
Scotland 26-26 France
France are making this easy for Scotland. Another penalty goes the way of the home side as Scotland are penalised for hands in the ruck.
Difficult to pick the one player who infringed there, it looked like most of the French team could have been pulled.
Scotland have a line-out deep in the French half - it's Stuart McInally to Ben Toolis and they're making good ground here.
PENALTY ADVANTAGE. AGAIN. Yacouba Camara just didn't do enough to roll away.
Posts it is.
Scotland 29-26 France
Scotland are eight minutes away from only their third win over France in this millennium.
Flower of Scotland is started by the crowd, but things get a bit tense in midfield as the French are on the attack and the songs turn to gasps.
Huw Jones piles on the pressure and Teddy Thomas can't latch onto the loose ball after a dropped pass from Geoffrey Palis. That's a poor pass though, and it's a Scotland scrum.
Handy, as the clock ticks away.

Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"It almost looks like the French are playing as individuals."
Greig Laidlaw
Level-pegging no longer. Greig Laidlaw puts Scotland in front for the first time in the match.
That's seven from seven from the reliable scrum-half.
10 minutes to play.
