Andy Nicol
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"There are always ebbs and flows in rugby but Scotland have ridden that out. They dug deep and produced some really good rugby, it’s been really entertaining and we want more of the same in the second half."

Sean Foley: 100% better performance this week than last. Let's kick on in this second half
David Spence: Finn Russell thinks he is a better player than he is, too casual and poor concentration.
Steve T Davies: Watching Scotland a bit like watching Liverpool play. Good attacking flow but suspect defence. Great for the neutral!

Olivier Magne
Former France flanker on BBC One
"I am very surprised and very happy to see France play like this. They have played well, it’s been a very good half for France. 'Can we maintain that in the second half?' That's the question."

The first-half highlights continue.
Here is Teddy Thomas' second try of the half, via a lucky bounce.

Scotland got themselves back in the match with this score from Sean Maitland - his first Six Nations try since his debut v England at Twickenham in 2013.

Gavin Hastings
Former Lions and Scotland full-back on 5 live
"I'm annoyed for almost the first time this half after that last two minutes. It was very sloppy, they conceded a couple of penalties and then right at the end they gave Maxime Machenaud the chance to take the lead out to six points.
"When Scotland do things well they look very good, but it's just that frustration - they're coughing up ball too easily and giving away penalties. If they tidy things up they're certainly in this game and have got a chance."

Scotland-France
Defenders beaten: 6-11
Clean breaks: 4-4
Turnovers conceded: 8-5
Tackles: 60-49
Penalties conceded: 6-4
And the one that counts...
Missed tackles: 11-6
Scotland 14-20 France
Both sides with two tries, but it's France ahead by six at the break.
Maxime Machenaud
Easy.
Scotland 14-17 France
France with one final attack as Guilhem Guirado finds his man in the air and there's a penalty coming. Grant Gilchrist took the man out in the air.
Jacques Brunel's side will have a pop at goal here I would think...
Scotland 14-17 France
Sean Maitland with a good carry as he blasts through a tackle into the French 22. But there goes the referee's whistle. Good defence from Maxime Machenaud who forces Maitland to hold onto the ball.
Everyone has a little drink as Machenaud receives some treatment, with one minute until the break. It's been a hectic first 40.
Scotland 14-17 France
And Scotland have another penalty, with Finn Russell deciding to blast the ball towards the corner.
A cracking effort from Teddy Thomas to try and keep it infield. That man is walking on water at the moment, so it's a surprise his effort fails.
But not to worry, France steal the line-out and Maxime Machenaud's box-kick moves them upfield.

Paul O'Connell
Former Ireland captain on BBC One
"The ball carrying of Scotland's forwards has been excellent, generating really quick ball as well."

Kate Shaw: YES try for Huw Jones! More of that please Scotland!
John Ballard: What a cracking game this is for the neutral. Real end to end stuff.
Ben Wire: Game on! The French as mercurial as ever and the Scots dishing up some clinical moves.

Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"As soon as Scotland get that tempo they are so difficult to deal with. Jones cut a clean, superb angle to score, but the key to their attack is tempo. It’s great to see attack come out on top of defence!"
Scotland 14-17 France
Well, well, well. We have a spectacle on our hands.
Both Scotland and France are struggling to defend out wide, and it's certainly making for a fun afternoon at Murrayfield. For the neutral, anyway.
A big moment for the Scots before the break as they halt a French drive and win a penalty to relieve the pressure with five minutes left in the half.
Huw Jones, con Laidlaw
It's a great team try.
Scotland look to go wide with the ball and it's Greig Laidlaw with the delayed pass to Huw Jones, who runs a neat line to slide in under the posts.
Laidlaw adds the extras and Scotland are back to within three.
