Both sides have given away nine penalties apiece - could discipline prove crucial in the closing stages?
Scotland 26-26 France
Scotland are camped in the French half, with the boys in blue breathing heavily in defence.
The hosts puts some width on it and there's a penalty coming their way. But can they get more?
No. John Lacey marches them back, it's Baptiste Serin who's been pinged for offside.
Stuart Hogg with a smile, but he hands the ball to Greig Laidlaw. The sensible option.

Stanley Miller: It's there for the winning Scotland!
Jonathan Marshall: The noise of that crowd!!

Paul O'Connell
Former Ireland captain on BBC One
"Scotland do not have to pull rabbit out of the hat – France are going to do it for them! Also, we were worried about the Scottish scrum but the substitutions have worked for them."
Scotland 26-26 France
More errors from the French, are they feeling the burn?
France fly-half Lionel Beauxis knocks on as he looks to counter-attack and Scotland have a scrum in an appetising position here.
France are beginning to unravel. Stuart Hogg with a dinked kick and it's collected by Geoffrey Doumayrou.
The centre calls the mark and takes a quick tap, but Baptiste Serin struggles to get to his man, the ball squirts out and poor Beauxis is left to clean up. He doesn't want the responsibility though, and Geoffrey Palis is forced to hack the ball clear.
Panic stations for the French.
Greig Laidlaw
Tension. Pressure. Penalties.
No running rugby here but it sure is an enthralling tussle.
Scotland win the penalty at the scrum just inside the French half and the game is level with 16 minutes to play at Murrayfield.
Ali Price is on at scrum-half and Greig Laidlaw is moving back to 10. Where did this come from?
Scotland 23-26 France
We're into the final quarter of the match, the period where the fitness of the French team usually comes into play.
Scotland's defence come up quickly and force replacement Louis Picamoles into a handling error with his first touch of the game.
Is it starting to show already?

Dave Sommerville: Impressed by the noise the French fans are making and by their back row - but really Scotland should be winning this
Stewart Gairns: Why are we losing so many on the floor?

Paul O'Connell
Former Ireland captain on BBC One
"France don’t seem to have great shape in attack, and Scotland look very organised in defence. There’s just no need to give those penalties away."
Baptiste Serin
Baptiste Serin knocks over an easy three points as the French fans inside Murrayfield bellow out a tuneful and rousing rendition of La Marseillaise. What a noise!
France making replacements too, and on comes the big man Louis Picamoles. The back row was left out of the original Six Nations squad, but he's back following injuries suffered in last week's game against Ireland.
Scotland 20-23 France
What a run from Geoffrey Doumayrou who storms onto a pass from Remi Lamerat and hares towards the Scottish line.
France recycle and they've got the penalty advantage for hands in the ruck as the forwards draw them up to the 10-metre line.
Greig Laidlaw with a monstrous effort to rip the ball from Virimi Vakatawa, which brings huge applause from the Murrayfield crowd, but the penalty is still there for the visitors.
A pop at goal it is.
Scotland 20-23 France
Good defence at the maul from Scotland, as referee John Lacey screams at France to use it.
Virimi Vakatawa is told to chase after a kick over the top but it's too heavy from replacement scrum-half Baptiste Serin and Finn Russell touches down in-goal.
Scotland 20-23 France
Finn Russell with a beautiful popped inside pass to Peter Horne and Scotland are into the French half.
But their forward progress is halted by France second row Arthur Iturria who wins a vital turnover as referee John Lacey blows for another penalty. This is becoming rather repetitive.
France will have a line-out deep inside the Scottish half.
Scotland 20-23 France
With half an hour to play, Scotland have made more metres than France (211) with ball in hand, despite trailing by three points on the scoreboard.
Scotland 20-23 France
Chris Paterson
Former Scotland international on BBC One
"The game’s in the balance, this when you need your leaders and senior players to take the game by the scruff of the neck."
Greig Laidlaw
It was tries galore in the first half, it's penalties in the second.
Greig Laidlaw adds another three points from the tee.
Bring back running rugby.
Baptiste Serin
France push their advantage back out to six points.
Scotland 17-20 France
The French are on the wrong side of the law again and it's a second penalty in quick succession for Scotland.
But Finn Russell fails to find touch for the second time in the match. A lack of concentration from the fly-half.
France make Scotland run from deep and as Stuart Hogg has ball in hand, his side are penalised for obstruction. France with the opportunity to add to their lead now.
Greig Laidlaw
Scotland get the first points of the second half as Greig Laidlaw slots a routine penalty.
The home side are back within three.
Scotland 14-20 France
It's the French fans inside Murrayfield making the noise in the second half as Scotland batter away at France on the halfway line.
And Grant Gilchrist makes a half-break as he pushes aside Baptiste Serin, before Scotland are awarded a penalty as France come in at the side.
That's a win for the hosts after a fairly onerous period of play.
