    Italy 24-12 Scotland

And Italy are going for another here.

They're using the blind side well to suck in the Scottish defence. Dean Budd offloads to Leonardo Ghiraldini and they have numbers here on the left.

Sergio Parisse just needs to drive towards the line but his pass goes awry. The Italian captain is claiming a deliberate knock-on here.

Jane: Italy cutting up Scotland like a freshly-made haggis!

Major Tom: Supporting Scotland must be tough. From the heady heights of completely outplaying England to supremely underperforming against Italy.

Ewan Clark: Typical Scotland play well against England in their final but be rubbish the rest of the time.

Ryan Wilson misses the first tackle. Greig Laidlaw misses it in behind and then the execution once they're through is excellent.

Scotland didn't capitalise on the Italy try being chalked off and Italy have punished them. A brilliant finish from Jake Polledri and Tommy Allan. You can't take anything away from them.

Jake Polledri has been monstrous for Italy this afternoon, he shoves Ryan Wilson off as he charges down the middle and offloads to fly-half Allan.

Allan knocks over yet another kick and Italy have a 12-point lead again.

Scotland were a little late taking the field for the second half, let's hope they'll be slightly sharper with ball in hand.

They need to up the ante and the tempo if they're to finish on a high in Rome.

It is tighter than piano wire out there.

Italy are shading possession and territory.

But it is nip and tuck over ever other stat. Scotland conceding seven turnovers is none too clever.

It was a really grim half of rugby for Scotland and they were fortunate to escape with that scoreline.

They've been doing a lot of defending in that first half - Fraser Brown alone has had to make 14 tackles. Physically, Italy are well on top at the moment and they have been very sharp so far. Scotland have made so many errors.
