Great play from South Africa - the Willie le Roux-Duane Vermeulen connection is really working for them. But Owen Farrell and Brad Shields both made great tackles there.

I want to see England's replacements with 30 minutes, maybe 25 minutes left, not only to up the intensity, but to up the accuracy.

Roars of encouragement in the crowd as the Springboks go into every tackle. England scramble around in defence before Brad Shields wins the turnover back.

Despite that England have made a shocking start to this half.

Steven Kitshoff and Thomas du Toit are going to come on in the front for South Africa any second.

Here come those changes. The Beast, Tendai Mtawarira and Frans Malherbe go off.

Looking at the last few minutes of the first half, discipline is going to be crucial. For England, Owen Farrell needs to calm down and let his play do the talking. Last week they left it a bit late, but England's bench will be crucial today.

Is this one of the biggest halves of Eddie Jones' tenure so far?

England need to stop the rot.

It's time for a little breather so I'll give one last plug to our excellent piece on Bloemfontein's Grey College.

The school has produced 46 players who have gone on to play for the Springboks as well as other South African sporting stars including Olympic 400m champion Wayde van Niekerk, Olympic swimming champion Ryk Neethling and former South Africa cricket captain Hansie Cronje.

5 live's Chris Jones and Louise Gwilliam went behind the scenes at the school earlier this week.

Nick: Poor discipline by England but shocking decision making. Now going in down at half time but should be 15-10 up.

Henry Adams: I just want one game this decade where England concede less penalties than the other team.

England are very well drilled, their backline are very connected at the moment. When they get good ball from a few phases, they look very dangerous. But they keep making silly errors in possession, or give away a stupid penalty and lose all momentum and territory.

Andrew Douthwaite: Balance of team just isn't there. Rock stars in attack with ball in hand but garage band defensively. No discipline and not a threat at breakdown.

If England do lose this then questions may well be asked of their decision-making.

Owen Farrell had the chance to make it 15-10 but turned down the shot at goal and then moments later South Africa scored a penalty of their own.

Who knows what Eddie Jones is saying about that at half-time.

Billy Vunipola is indeed holding is arm and now he jogs off. He's replaced by Nathan Hughes. That's his game over.

England's final attack comes to nothing and that's half-time. More thrilling rugby. More questions for Eddie Jones.

The players love Mike Brown's never-say-die attitude, he was brilliant getting back there. England will have to keep an eye on Billy Vunipola now - he never misses those tackles and he's clutching his arm a bit there.

We saw Elliot Daly boom over from 60 metres last week, and Handre Pollard has done it there. Add 10 points to each team and it's pretty much what happened last week: England start well, tire and South Africa come into it. Eddie Jones' replacements will be crucial.

South Africa want more in this first half. Bongi Mbonambi steals the ball at England's line-out as Jamie George overthrows. He races clear but is hauled down by the excellent Mike Brown after making serious yards.

South Africa are penalised soon after though and England kick for touch for what will be the last play of the half.
