  2. 'Vermeulen is world-class'published at 16:38 British Summer Time 16 June 2018

    Matt Dawson
Former Lions and England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 live

Duane Vermeulen is world-class there's no question about that. He's gone through four England players there - with a big hand-off on Maro Itoje too. When they get fast-ball, South Africa look lethal.

  3. 'Great try'published at 16:37 British Summer Time 16 June 2018

    South Africa 7-12 England

Great try by Duane Vermeulen. South Africa are just starting to get momentum from their carries, they need to keep the fast-ball coming.

Converted try - South Africa 7-12 Englandpublished at 25 mins

    Duane Vermeulen, con Pollard

So much power. England think they have South Africa's latest attack covered but Tendai Mtawarira uses all of his beastly qualities to scoop up the ball and swat away a couple of England tackles.

He causes the initial panic and then the ball is recycled to Duane Vermeulen who skips through a couple more England tackles and crosses the try line.

The conversion is kicked too. South Africa strike back.

South Africa seem to be rushing at the moment, they need to calm down and make sure they get the maul set - they've tried three different moves off the line-out already.

Are England getting into the head of Faf de Klerk? Shortly after that little tussle, the South African scrum-half fizzes a pass straight out of play.

That gives England the chance to finally boot clear. They kick up to half way.

Rob Bull: That is truly classy from the South African DJ in Bloemfontein. Whilst England and South Africa fight, he plays "Take on me" by Aha!

England can't get this ball clear of their 22. The players break apart but South Africa are still hunting the try.

It's despicable really - of course England are focusing on Faf de Klerk, Owen Farrell has got his hands all over him. Eddie Jones will have been saying all week to get under his skin at any chance and Farrell and co have done it there.

  11. Take on me!published at 20 mins

    South Africa 0-12 England

    Handbags!!

South Africa turn the ball straight back over at the scrum and now half the players on the field pile into a big tussle with Owen Farrell and Faf de Klerk at the centre of it.

The man in charge of the stadium PA system has a sense of humour. He plays the classic tune 'Take on me' by A-ha.

    South Africa 0-12 England

    Victor Matfield

Much better from England to stop that maul, they stopped it getting set which is key, because once it's set it's very hard to stop.

The referee blows his whistle again. Romain Poite penalises the men in white for stopping that maul.

South Africa go for touch but the line-out goes awry. They blame an England player, as do the crowd. Two men in the stands wave an imaginary yellow card in the direction of the players.

Owen Farrell fights the England cause. Referee Poite agrees.

Another South African line-out now. England turn it over on the floor. More cheers from the pack at that minor victory, they're cheering like they've scored a try.

That maul brings the South African pack right back in this game after the scrum they lost at five metres out.

These South Africans may be new names to many but you always know when Tendai ‘The Beast’ Mtawarira has ball in hand. Cries of "Beeeeeeeeast" from the stands and he charges into a tackle.

England hold him up but now South Africa have a maul going. Eddie Jones' side are struggling to stop this...

It feels like deja vu. South Africa should be defending that, and there was a lucky little juggle from Mike Brown, but then after he got it away there was a two on one. And once Jonny May has the tryline in his sights there is no-one in the world with the pace to stop him.

Try - South Africa 0-12 Englandpublished at 13 mins

    Jonny May

    Wow, wow, wow.

Brilliant hands from England and in a matter of minutes they have two tries on the board. It's slick in the midfield with Mike Brown again playing a key role before this one is finished on the right flank by Jonny May.

Owen Farrell just misses the conversion this time.

  20. 'South Africa need to stay calm'published at 16:22 British Summer Time 16 June 2018

    South Africa 0-7 England

    Victor Matfield
Former South Africa captain on BBC Radio 5 live

South Africa need to stay calm and stick to what they want to do, they had to come from behind last week, and they'll have to do it again.

Their discipline has been pretty poor so far, so they need to look at that.
